I had the vegetarian poke bowl and honestly.... so good. Very simple with no extra sauce etc on the rice 🤞🏼
I reserved a table for 4 for 10am. We arrived on time and ordered 2 big breakfasts, pancakes and reg Bacon and Eggs. At 11.30am our food arrived but was dissappointed that it was cold. Service was poor, staff looked lost with wrong orders going...everywhere. I decided to get a refund and will never step foot and eat there again.More
We called in here for a quick bite after a busy day exploring and had the most amazing poke bowl. So good we came back the next day for round 2!! Our friends had the seafood which was equally as good. Staff are really friendly...and helpful and I would highly recommend this little gem! Only one street back from the Esplanade, very well priced too 😎 Give it a go, you won't be disappointed 🤟More
Really nice staff made our quick lunch a nice experience and the food was simple but tasty. Had a battered fish burger and a fresh sandwich for the toddler. Had a tangy juice freshly made that was excellent.
This little cafe has great food and smoothies a must visit coming to cairns and this is from a local. Highly recommended.
Best smoothies around and not too bad Fish and Chips either! Lovely manager and well worth your patronage.
I have been there a couple of times now. The steak sandwiches are great. A nice spot in the town for a quick bite to eat
We been travelling north coast for a while and was yet to have a good seafood fish n chips dinner, than we went to Frydays and it was sooo good. Kids had beautiful fish n chips light batter. And we had a seafood for 2...all grilled. Awesome. Great service too. Thanks.More
Very friendly staff. Fish and chips great. Unfortunately calamari bordered on inedible. At $12,50 for 6 crumbed calamaria to take away that was rather disappointing
Just had a burger and i was very happy with it. it was big( i couldn't ) finish it. chips were nice and crispy . coming back for sure
Due to COVID-19 I haven't had a good meal in a while...Until yesterday!! My partner and I got lunch takeaway yesterday, I had the salmon poke bowl and she got the $12.50 battered fish and chips. For the price she got a massive serving which...we couldn't finish anyway. The food was hot and the takeaway order took about seven minutes. We also got tatare sauce included which completed the fish as well. The fish itself was battered, crispy but not to greasy, perfect! My salmon poke bowl had a large serving of white rice, assorted fresh veggies and a delish spicy citrus sauce. It was a little hefty on price ($19) however I got such a lunch serving that I had the rest for brekkie today. Overall both meals were wholesome, filling and had a mostly reasonable pricing!More
Love this place. The Poke Bowls and juices are my personal favourite. Brilliant. I’ve also tried the burger and chips, again great! Lovely owner and staff. Would recommend.
Delicious juices and food. Great for a munch. Beware -- the portions are large. We ordered more than we could eat.
I was hoping to like this place but the staff were rude enough to keep me from coming back. I ordered the Açaí Passion bowl- Was a small sized fruit bowl with 4 banana slices, 1 strawberry, 3 watermelon cubes and 8 blueberries. $15. Way...overpriced. Also took a while for staff to get me a spoon even after I had my food. Staff advised me there was cold water available for customers. Instead of wasting a glass, I figured I’d use my water bottle instead (the glasses were quite small, I knew I would have 4-5 glasses at least). I was at the water station filling the bottle slowly to make sure none of the water spilled when a staff member rushed over and said “no no no this is for customers” (it was the same lady who took my order at the cashier). I said “I am a customer, you just took my order” and she goes “no no no this is for customers, it’s spilling everywhere” even though I had made sure to not spill anywhere. She then goes “it’s very expensive for us to put the fruit in the water everyday, it’s for customers to have a glass” and she kept repeating that over and over so I took my things and left. Not sure what was going on. She could have said “please do not fill up your water bottle here” which would be understandable, but she kept rambling about customers. Left a very bad taste in my mouth. Definitely will not be returning and will advise folks at my hotel to avoid. Can find the same if not better food for more reasonable prices at more respectable establishments.More
