Really pleasant staff and yummy bacon & egg muffin that really hits the spot and oh the coffee is good to. What more could you want.
The breakfast was delicious but we were very disappointed to be told we could not have tap water - if we wanted water we had to buy a bottle. They blamed Covid but we’ve been to cafes all over Cairns and they were happy to...supply water when we requested it. A bottle was brought to the table with glasses. Not so here. Please rethink this policy as in the tropics we should all be encouraged to drink water. Using bottled water just wastes plastic.More
We chose this place because it was full.. .normally a good sign. So here are my positive Points: 1- No positive points. Negative points: 1: The table and chairs were wiped down with minimal disinfectant. Actually I saw him squeeze the spray bottle trigger once.....Into an already dirty cloth. 2- The price of the beverages are too overpriced for what you get. 3- The food must have been prepared in a different country and then shipped to cairns on a slow boat from China...because honestly it took forever to come out. 4. The bacon was FATTY... And I am not talking a little fat. I'm talking John Candy, John Goodman (Rosanne days) fat. 5. And to go with 4... It was not cooked...properly. Avoid this place..More
Saturday morning brunch, lovely food, very fast service, reasonable price and plenty of well spaced seating
Hubby and I had the bacon and poached eggs, it was so yummy the eggs just how I like them nice and soft, most of all it came to us nice and hot. Only thing I would say is the gentleman that took our order...could have smiled a bit more and be a little more friendly to the customer, maybe he was just having a bad day.More
Absolutely terrible, very expensive, food atrocious, staff miserable and unhelpful. Bread stale, juice was terrible, nearly all ginger. Asked for a ham salad sandwich and we got stale bread, old cheese. A few lettuce leaves and quarter’s of tomato on the side. That’s what they...call a ham salad sandwich. Think on the esplanade with most probably high rents it would be better. Worst cafe I’ve ever been to. Not worth one star!More
My husband and I dropped in for breakfast and with social distancing requirements, we were forced to wait for a table. Staff were so friendly and apologetic. Once we had ordered and were seated, the food was served quickly and we both commented that it...was one of the best breakfasts we had ever been served at a cafe. The coffee was great. We will definitely visit again. Very impressed.More
