Delicious authentic Korean food with vegan and veggie options. Corea Corea is located on the top floor of the Orchid Plaza. You can get takeaway or sit in the upstairs food court.
My husband and I arrived just before dinner service and there was already a line. This place is popular! Go for the bibimbap (dump the accompanying soup and sauce right in the bowl) or japchae. All dishes are made fresh and come out screaming hot. Chilled barley tea is complimentary for customers to soothe your inevitably burnt tongue. You can get it at the flatware station.

We’ve had bibimbap on Korea Air so we knew what to expect. But this was so much better. Generous serve of rice with mixed veg and beef, including hot sauce and miso soup. Mix it up to your liking. Food was fresh and service was excellent. Our meal hit the table within a minute of us sitting down. Served in a hot pot it was still sizzling for 5 min. Staff were attentive and very courteous. We will be going back!

Tasty food but would expect pieces of beef for $15 not mince in the bipim bap (not sure of spelling). Fair value and comes with miso soup which was nice. Good customer service.

We were so excited to try this place but much to our dismay, we were all dissapointed. My kids ordered the beef and there was barely any in it. I ordered the JapChae and it was more rice than noodles. I'm from the US and have never had it served with rice. Same for my kids, when we order the beef, it comes on it's own sizzling plate with veggies (pan chan) and rice separate. My husband said his bimbimbap was fine.

Corea Corea is one of the most popular restaurants in Cairns amongst locals and consistently serves up quality authentic Korean from the top floor of Orchid Plaza. I’ve come with others for dinner as well as lunch (it’s in the CBD & a short walk from my office) and it’s always good. I can’t wait to go back - my mouth is watering while writing this review. Check it out.

Located in a food court at the top of a shopping centre, this as a great find. Food was served quick, hot and very tasty. Prices were good and the serves large. Staff were friendly and we enjoyed the BBQ beef pot, beef rib soup and bibimbab. We went back and had it for dinner another night while we were there, it was so good.

Visited here after seeing many good reviews. I would suggest takeaway as it is very hot in the shopping centre. The spicy chicken bowl was such a large portion size which was great-very spicy and tasty with a rich flavour. Food was ready very quickly.

First Korean meal for us , but our family eat here regularly . We’re advised by a Korean friend that this was the best place to get authentic Korean food & they weren’t wrong. The surroundings aren’t plush in a shopping mall , but the meal & value for money can’t be beaten

Grabbed a takeaway dish for hotel room.
Kids had ordered bland in-room dinner (burger) and I wanted a spicy kick.
Chicken pot from Corea a winner with plenty of desired heat.
Quality ingredients but would have preferred less onion.
Miso soup also a good addition.
Might come and eat in soon.

Visiting Cairns and came across this restaurant in a search so booked for dinner. It is upstairs in this building, nothing fancy and only 2 working, the lady doing orders and the lady making orders, delivery food out to tables & packing up. Super efficient with very fast service.
The food is darn amazing and before we leave we are coming back

This place has been serving up some of the tastiest Asian food in Cairns for a long time, Many Locals frequent the place and that says lots in Cairns, if there is no local return trade its not good. Menu has something for all tastes, bit of a sterile atmosphere in shopping arcade but the aroma and flavours make that go away, well worth trying.

Absolutely love coming here again and again! There is no better place to go in Cairns if you love Korean food.
Amazing service every single time, full bold incredible flavours.
I always get the seafood pot with kimchi and it just wows me every time.
I can highly recommend this place.

Told how good this place was by lovely lady at Shangrila hotel. We have never had Korean before. The food was amazing, full of flavour & spice. My husband had the seafood stir fry & I had the seafood pot. Sensational meals & good prices. We would never have found this place if not told about it. Certainly will return 😋

Arrived in Cairns and was craving for a nice Korean meal. Selected the Soon Doo Boo meal with rice and it just hit the spot. Nice and hot, with alot of flavour. If your around the area, I would strongly suggest you try their Soon Doo Boo.

Didn't have too high expectations with the place being in a shopping mall but how good was that spicy pork! Amazing flavours, great presentation on the sizzling pan and incredibly fast service. The food arrived to the table in 5 minutes. Definitely a must try place when in Cairns!
