Delicious Hong Kong cuisine and Super friendly staff. We dined in and ordered the Shao Long Bhao dumplings, crispy pork belly, roast duck, Maopo Togu and special fried rice. Each dish was served in a timely manner and with the correct temperature. What a delight! We will be returning regularly and trying out other dishes on the menu. Well done and Thank you Tim Hei 🥰

Our family went to eat here, I would have to say this is the best Chinese food we have tasted. The squid in black bean sauce was our favourite, the crispy pork was meaty and the skin was very crispy. The service was delightful, we had a great experience and the interaction with our waitress was engaging. I would definitely recommend having a meal here. We will be back again and will most definitely be letting all our family and friends know about the this little gem of a restaurant that serves delicious food.

My husband & I are visiting Cairns for work and have been craving traditional Chinese cuisine. The chef combined this with beautiful local mud crab which was delicious. We had a seafood feast and would recommend this restaurant to our family and friends! This is a family owned business where they take great pride in taking care of their customers comfort and dining experience. Thank you to Tim Hei and family for a memorable meal! We hope to visit you soon again!

Had take away from here 2 nights ago on our way home from work. The pricing was really expensive (one large fried rice, lemon chicken, 3 spring rolls & 3 tiny dim sims) for $44. When we got home the food looked bad & I hoped it would taste ok. Well it was revolting & that was the first time my husband & I have thrown most of our dinner away. The dim sims should be illegal (absolutely disgusting) & the lemon chicken looked like something I might feed my cat. The rice was very bland & something you expect in a bad food court. To say we were disappointed is an understatement. Avoid this place at all costs.

This is the worst Chinese food we have ever eaten, I was excited when I saw Hong Kong Cuisine but very disappointed. OMG the special fried rice was steamed soggy rice, the sweet and sour pork was revolting the pork soaked in oil with 2 bits of pineapple and 2 bits of capsicum plus a ton of onion in the whole dish. The 3 steamed dim sims full of gristle god knows what was in there. The spring rolls also full of oil, I feel sick thinking of this food. Do yourself a favour and do not eat here.

The restaurant we wanted to visit was closed for a private function, and this one was the closest and we ended up buying grilled duck with rice and char kway teow. Run by the family, they were very quick and friendly.
Food was a letdown though. Grilled Duck was more bone, less meat and rubbery. Char Kay Teow was tasteless.

We’ve been ordering takeaway from Tim Hei since 1 Feb (Chinese NY): lobster yee mien though expensive was perfect for celebration. They are so kind that they will even cook off the menu dishes, given notice. I thoroughly recommend Ah Ching’s cooking and Becky’s service.

This is a cafe style resteraunt that is spotlessly clean, has great service, has amasing food and is extremely well priced.
A resteraunt for those looking for authentic food.
It is BYO and has water glasses for all drinks.
I strongly commend the resteraunt to those seeking a great food experience.

If you are a meat eater - plates overflowing but sadly the vegetarian option ( tofu costs far less than meat ) was only 5 small pieces drowned out by a few limp vegetables.
Service was super friendly. Lovely woman who took care of us. Much appreciated.

Surprisingly, their website doesn't have either a dine-in or takeaway menu.
I was staying in an Airbnb nearby and called in to pick up a menu when attending nearby shops.
If dining in, the restaurant is very small, so booking would be essential.
The food is excellent, reasonably priced and the takeaway containers were full.
The steamed rice is excellent value at $3.
Tasty good value food.

You wouldn't know it from the road but this place has Cairns' best Chinese food! They do all the usual Chinese dishes but also many that us Aussies are not so familiar with, and they taste AWESOME! Many of the dishes are spicy, but not too spicy. The service was great and the serving sizes are just right. We'll be back!!!

I know how hong kong food should taste like. This place is as good as any street level restaurant I have tasted in hk over 30 years living there. I spoke to waitress in Cantonese. Food was very good. Dine here if you want hong kong food. Ask her for traditional hk dishes.

Our go to Chinese Restaurant in Cairns. Small dining area but quality food at a great price. Always helpful in menu selections and caters for a group of 8 adults with no waiting or issues. Recommend booking table if you need to dine in. We have been here many times and the food is always delicious. Great service , great food, great price. Highly recommended.

This is a very small restaurant, with excellent meals. Lots of spicy options.
We really enjoyed watching the chef cook, and obviously a lot of local business. BYO wine (although they might like to invest in some ice buckets for patrons).
Highly recommend!

Mainly Chinese diners which is always a good sign! No MSG used in this restaurant which was pleasing. Can highly recommend the chicken and vegetables with oyster sauce. Lovely flavour lots of chicken and nice green vegetables.
