Bushfire Flame Grill is an Award Winning Brazilian-inspired restaurant serving a unique Australian BBQ-style experience. Located on The Esplanade in Cairns, the theatre of the kitchen is brought to your table after skewers of meats are slow-roasted on a triple-decker, open-flame churrasco grill. Carvers will circle the restaurant with the seasoned and marinated meat, with delectable sides served to your table, followed by churros, cinnamon sugar pineapple and ice cream. Fabulous dining experience, great atmosphere and tasty food. This restaurant is not just about the flavoursome and well cooked food, it is an experience in itself. My kids aged 9 and 10 thoroughly enjoyed being able to choose which meats they would like and to be able to use the tongs to ‘catch’ the sliced meats. The pork and marinated chicken were stand outs for us. Coupled with the table service of meats being brought around, there was also side dishes placed in the middle of the table which were ample and tasty. My only negative is that there was not a lot/bordering on zero attention to drinks. We were never given a drinks menu upon being seated, and never asked - my husband originally wanted to order a beer but was never given the opportunity. We also had to ask numerous times if the water could please be replenished. All in all though, a great meal and we would definitely recommend to others

Fabulous service from our waitress Patricia. She was so helpful and accommodating. She gave us great options for our two young daughters and my husband and I were so impressed with the range of meats and side dishes. We were super full. We will be back.

Our family had dinner on Saturday night at Bushfire Grill and found it amazing. You get the chance to try different type of meats and a seafood dish. The Staff are very friendly and explains everything to us. Drinks were one of the highlights as well trying the bushfire Brazil beer and a few cocktails. having a Uruguayan background I was really looking forward to this dinner experience with my family, the kids enjoyed their meals and the food keep coming. The meats are carved straight from the skewer to your plate, the pork, lamb and kangaroo were my favorite, then finished with golden pineapple. We will be back, hasta la proxima ves amigos...

We visited here as it came recommended to us by a friend, and it did not disappoint. We opted for the full BBQ service and we definitely left with full stomachs! The staff were very friendly and always had a great big smile on their face. Every meat tasted fantastic and was full of so much flavour. We also happened to have grilled pineapple for the first time and oh my - delicious! So simple and have started making it at home. Thanks for a great evening!

Walked in after a christmas celebration at the park...I had high-hopes! venue looked good!! Lipstick on a pig. Literally every meat was dry & overcooked. I wanted it to be good even after the first few brazilian-style deliveries of meat, but just not well done. for the price....do better

Woeful service. Went for husband’s birthday as a treat. Charusco meals 70pp. Only one drink order being taken from our table all night (sparkling water. After being seated it took 15 minutes for first course to be delivered. We had to ask the wait staff to remove the plate in order to start the meal service. Meats were only brought around once. Made multiple requests for additional meats which were ordered through a waiter on an iPad which weren’t delivered. We were still waiting past the 1.5 hour mark where it appears that at that stage the waiters just completely ignore tables that have been there since the start of the session. We weren’t served our dessert section of the menu at all. We decided to leave after being ignored for 20 mins. Spoke to the front of house manager who apologies and took the price of the sparkling water off the meal. Just woeful!!!!!
In summary. 1 drink order, limited meal service, no dessert for $70pp. Should have stayed closed after Covid!

As a meat lover, I was excited to try Bushfire Grill. The location is great on the esplanade near the Marina. We were pretty hungry after a day out on the reef diving so the idea of an "all you can eat" meal was great. The food is good, the selection and quality of the meat is excellent.
But, the wait for the carvers to come around is long, they are very slow so there is a lot of waiting around and trying to get them to come over to the table. Thankfully we were saved by one of the Supervisors (Dani) who came to check on us a few times and in the end she went and got meat and served us herself. I also saw here doing this at other tables.
Bushfire, you need to add more and/or speed up the meat service it really lets you down and changes the whole experience from fun to frustrating. Thank goodness you have Dani who took care of us.

Our waitress Samia was so friendly and interactive, making us feel comfortable and welcome and her colleagues (who's names I did not catch (sorry) were also lovely, polite and efficient. Bushfire offers a very personalised service and were very prompt in making sure we got the full 'All you can eat' experience. There were so many gluten free options our 12 year old got a rare treat of dining at a resteraunt where she had multiple choices for her meal and while it was a bit pricey it was well worth the cost for the service and the flavour. We will be back. 😊

Bushfire flame grill offers an exceptional array of food and the service is second to none. You won’t leave hungry but can control the pace of the delivery of your meals, and really enjoy the authentic flavours melt in your mouth. This was our first visit but won’t be our last.

I am usually disappointed by 'brazilian' churrasco restaurants in Australia that compare very poorly with the real thing; but not this one! After a couple of years' closure due to covid, Bushfire is back with a vengeance and clearly a great deal of thought has gone in to ensuring a great dining experience. The range of meats is top quality, seasoned and roast to perfection, with no cheap 'fillers', and the staff enthusiastic, friendly and helpful, making for a great night out. To my surprise I even enjoyed the roast pineapple and homemade churros at the end of the meal, and I recommend the Bushfire beer.

If you are vegan, this is not a restaurant for you. It is a great atmosphere with the Brazilian dancers, friendly staff and great food. They bring a range of sides to your table to start, but you can order more of them if run out. You are then constantly being offered every type of meat, which they cut off the skewer to your plate. They do offer vegetarian options, but I did not ask about them.

We ate here on our first night in Cairns, and it was without a doubt the best experience of our stay. We like meat, if you don’t probably avoid this place, and Bushfire do meat very well and lots of it.
However it was not just the food that won us over the (new) manager, our table waiter and all the carving waiter were brilliant.
One small area they could work on is the decor it does not really work with the theme, and feels a bit like a hotel lobby, but easily overlooked.

We have been to similar restaurants before and were looking forward to this. Starters were nice. Especially the cheese bread . While the food started with a succulent lamb shoulder, as the evening progressed, the meat served was dry and overcooked. Depending where one sat seemed to influence how often meat came round— I am not saying there was a shortage of meat— there was plenty, but the timing was sporadic and we had to ask to be served the pineapple. FANTASTIC! We have been highly recommending this place to everyone we know since we first went 12 years ago.
All you can eat Brazilian churrasco meat with starters, sides and desserts included. The grilled pineapple is always a highlight.

Make sure you wear your loose pants because the food just keeps on coming when you opt for the three-course churrasco experience at Bushfire. And not only is there lots of it, but everything we were served was delicious.
We loved tasting all the BBQ meat (and pineapple), the sides were superb, dessert was great and the staff were fabulous. Such a fun night!
