Nothing fancy in terms of decor or ambience but if you are after good authentic Vietnamese food at a reasonable price this is the place to go.
We shared the chicken noodle Phonwhixh was very good as were the prawn and pork rice paper rolls and the crispy pork baguette.
I will definitely be back.

After a long day of driving, we were exhausted, tired and hungry. Pho Viet made everything better. We had regular sliced beef noodle soup, a special beef noodle soup and a wonton noodle soup. The serving size was awesome. There was so much meat and noodles and delicious broth. Very happy.

Pho Viet in Cairns is my go-to spot for a delicious and satisfying lunch. I’ve been here often, and the food never disappoints. The beef soup and satay chicken are my personal favorites—packed with flavor and perfectly cooked. The broth in the pho is rich and aromatic, and the satay chicken has just the right amount of spice and sweetness. It’s always a quick, tasty meal. If you’re looking for a great Vietnamese noodle bar in Cairns, Pho Viet is definitely worth a visit!

I've been here a couple of times and can not fault the food! I had beef betel leaf wrap noodle salad, which was delicious and the time before I had the chicken salad and soup meal deal which was amazing! Would definitely recommend for a quick casual dinner

Family of 4 ate in for a night out.
Ordered food came out singularly in 5-10 minute intervals.
Noticed other tables with recent orders getting their order like ours sooner (spring rolls).
Food overall delicious yet experience frustrated by slow and haphazard service.
e.g., beef pho came under 5 min yet partner’s Viet chicken Salad came at 25 min (after 3 reminders).

We ate here twice having the Honey Prawns, Crispy Pork and on the second occasion one of the large bowl of Noodle Soup with Seafood. The Pho Viet Noodle Bar is also Licenced. Excellent food at a low price.

If you are looking for good food with fast service and cheap price, come here. (each dish approx $17). We tried the Pho soup which was my favourite. We also had some rolls with beef and prawns and a salad with spring rolls cut into bite size pieces.

As fans of vietnamese we thought we might sneak a meal in here before going out for drinks. We only had fifteen minutes spare and the line had a fair few people in it. When I asked the owner/manager wait time, he told me 10 minute which I assumed was a bit of a stretch for him to pull off given how busy it was. Anyway he pulled out an extra table to fit us in and out of nowhere the food was nearly instantly at our table. He was true to his word and the pho and vermicelli salad was as close to I've had since Vietnam! 100% Love this place. Service and food was amazing. Like nothing I've experienced in Cairns before. Thank you.

The food is authentic and it feels almost like you’re back in Vietnam eating in one of the street cafes. Staff are friendly and food is prompt. Good sized portions too.

We ordered a simple meal of Honey Chicken with 4 Wontons, and it was absolutely wonderful. The chicken was beautifully sweet with a side bar of savoury. The Wontons were really nice. The plain rice with the chicken had a nice savoury note. All cooked on time and for a great price.

My first time trying noodles/Vietnamese food + I was overly impressed! Service was friendly from all staff, prices were reasonable, portions were huge + the food was DELICIOUS!!!
I had the chicken noodle soup + swapped rice noodles for egg noodles. My boyfriend had beef vermicelli + we got a side of veg spring rolls.
Food was fresh + hot and just all round really delicious. I will definitely be back!!

We dined here tonight for the 1st time on a recommendation and are glad we did. The Beef and Tenderloin Pho is fantastic. The crispy skin chicken with broth is a standout. Meal prices are excellent. The quality of the food was clear by a full and busy restaurant with a diverse clientele. I have taken 1 point off because of plastic spoons and because I nearly slipped over going to the toilet. Definitely recommend this restaurant and would go back.

Went here on way back to hotel for a quick meal & they didn’t disappoint. Table & service quick, beef pho & chicken pho with a side of spring rolls. Very authentic just like Vietnam, couldnt finish spring rolls and had to takeaway. Had to stay for an extra Saigon beer just to bring back memories. Cost good and recommend to anyone.

This was a great find in Cairns after visiting a few disappointing tourist traps on the esplanade. Ordered the chilli beef soup and the veggie noodle soup. Both were great with plenty of fresh herbs, bean sprouts etc. Was really nice and filling. The prices were resonable and the service was fast and good. Would highly recommend. Be prepared to wait for a table but highly worth it.
