Delicious food - huge portions! We arrived in Cairns yesterday and my partner was raving about The Lillipad Cafe, saying he goes there every time he comes to Cairns. I can see why.. the menu was awesome with so many different options. The portions are huge so you really feel like you’re getting your money worth. The food was delicious!! It was so good in fact that I told him we have to come back again tomorrow!

Ive been to lilli pad numerous times in the past and have been always happy with the food yet usually let down by the service until today a fresh faced brunette girl who's name I didn't catch.
She went above and beyond to make myself and my family enjoy our meal and even cleared our plates and followed up on how everything was. Which the answer was GREAT!
Keep doing what your doing gang.
Definitely worth the visit :D

Only visited once but were surprised at the portion of bacon that came with the poached eggs on toast. I’m sure they could make more money by dropping a rasher or two and people would still be content with what they get.

Ordered the Bacon and Eggs(scrambled). Eggs were disgusting, well over cooked, Dry and Grainy, would of preferred to wait an extra 5 minutes so the chef could remake them instead of serving up that crap. Obviously the chef has no pride in what he delivers. Very disappointing. Orange Juice was nice and refreshing,
Would not Recommend.

Excellent little local cafe. The veggie burger is one of the best we’ve had in a awhile. Food very seemed fresh and they have options to make food vegan if you’re vegan.
Only complaint is that it was a bit hot during lunchtime with just fans the door open. Not sure if it’s usually like that.

We were starving and Lillipad Cafe came through with the goods! We had the Breakfast Burrito and the Shak-Shuka. Robust flavours with a good amount of spice (I'm a chilli fanatic - my wife less so, but she still enjoys it), and serving sizes to easily cover a full day of exploring Cairns without worrying about lunch. Service was prompt and friendly in a relaxed environment. I spent 10yrs in hospitality, and I honestly couldn't fault our experience. If you're in Cairns - eat here.

Great food at the Lillipad Cafe on one of Cairn's main streets. We ordered gluten and dairy free food (everything on menu can be both free, which is incredible). Big dishes, we left very satisfied.

The portions in here are HUGE! They do great, coffee, juices, tasty breakfasts. I visited a few times when living in the area and didn’t have a bad meal - personal favourites are the salmon fajitas, Parisian eggs and their rainbow juice is amazing! They do really good vegan options too. Sometimes there is a bit of a wait for a table but 100% worth it.

Their menu was amazing, with LOTS of options for Vegetarians, Vegans or others. Most of the meals can be swapped to include Meat if you wish. The food was some of the best we have had whilst in Cairns. A plus was the menu was a refreshing change from those dishes you get Everywhere. Staff were nice and efficient but Seating is a little limited. Don't let that detract you for going however. Worth every cent we spent. It is very well priced.

Enjoyed a nice breakfast in this small Cafe opposite Rusty's Markets. Lots of bacon came with the traditional bacon and eggs. Coffee was great and service was good and as you expect with the Covid-19 restrictions. Sat at outside table on footpath. Didn't really like the pigeons waiting in numbers close by for us to finish. Overall enjoyed the meal.

Was so happy to find this place - the perfect place for a vegan and a meat eater to eat together and be really happy. Breakfast options
all day which is great too. Most things on the menu they do normal and vegan options of which is really refreshing. The food was super yummy and you will not go hungry - the portions are huge but with lots of yummy abs fresh food.

Yum, yum, yum.
The food is fantastic everytime. Sometimes staff are a little cold and aloof, but most times they are nice. The food is really fresh with generous portions. Definitely worth it if you are craving a great salad.

We went here for breaky one morning while on holidays. I loved the different foods available you don't see on a regular breaky menu. I had something with beans and it was super tasty. My husband isn't very adventurous with his eating and wasn't hugely impressed, but still managed to enjoy his eggs on toast & hot chocolate.
Maybe not the best place to go if you want the usual breakfast menu, but certainly not complaining over the food we had.

Huge portions of delicious food. We came for lunch but wish we’d just done brunch because it was so filling.
The Turkish bread is delicious and the amount of smoked salmon generous.
Would recommend for backpackers on a budget!

Lillipad has a slightly funky vibe and offers solid vegetarian options. All helpings are generous and offer good value. A good place to eat when you are hungry and want to relax, outside seating if you have a dog.
