We go here regularly for the Sunday night burlesque which is awesome. It’s a very beautiful venue but the bar staff are incredibly rude.

Hi Simone, Thank you for your review. We appreciate all feedback and have passed your feedback along to the appropriate department. The Press Club Team.
This is our favorite club in the Valley. Never fails to impress. The bands have never dissapointed and the dance floor is always pumping. Lines for drinks are minimal, pricing competitive. Toilets and smoking areas area clean and modern. Great staff and never any trouble...in the club. Will keep coming back...More
Hi ozHarris, Thank you for your amazing review. We are thrilled that you enjoyed your time at Press Club and we look forward to having you again. The Press Club Team.
Accidentally stumbled into this joint when everything sounded like crap on a Monday. Was pleasantly impressed by staff service and music

We used to frequent here when we lived in The Valley and loved it. We went early in the evening and were the only customers at the time. The place looked and felt was as we remembered it. However, instead of being pleasant and engaging,...the bar staff clearly did not care about early or over 50s patrons and I would have the same interaction dealing with a drinks vending machine. The prices are high, but you expect that in the Valley.More
Hi Fred, Thank you for your review. We have passed along your feedback to management and we hope to see you again. The Press Club Team.
After going to cloud land we slipped around the corner to this club. Live band playing covers was fantastic, great crowd and dancing for most of the night. We loved it!
Hi Kerryn We're so glad you enjoyed your experience with us, thank you for the glowing review and we hope to see you again soon at the Press Club :-)
Staff were not enjoying themselves at all and the cocktails reflected this. The cocktails were not created well and at times missing ingredients. Attracted a very pretentious crowd, however the live jazz was great.
Been here 2 Friday nights in last month and it has a happening vibe. Live music, long saloon style bar, and couple of different seating areas. Whole range of age groups and demographics, and everyone very friendly.
The decor is very important when you want to have a great night. Place to be for cocktails and a little dance! Absolutely brilliant
Great live music, great atmosphere perfect place for a night out. Levy of comfortable seating, Room to dance and located conveniently located on Brunswick street.
Had a really great night here with my boyfriends work colleagues. The cocktails were amazing and the live music was fantastic (sadly can't remember the name of the band playing). Definitely the place to be, even on a Tuesday night!
I love The Press Club!!! What's not to love? I love the seating its perfect for mingling. The drinks are awesome & the staff are a huge asset. It can get very busy & hectic around the bar but the staff just take it in...their stride. We had amazing service & I love that after our first round I didn't even need to remind the bartender of my order. Even the staff collecting glasses were friendly & affable. The band was awesome & perfect songs to dance to. Great venue, great night.More
Loved this place, great drinks selection and some of the best music I've heard in a while. Band played a heap of classics, loved hearing the saxophone live!
The Press Club is one of Brisbane's best live music venues, in my opinion. Good bands, good crowd with no hassles, efficient service at the bar. The decor is eclectic. Overall a fun place for a night out.
The Press Club is a great evening out. It's known for its funk and soul music, which is what drew us. That and no entrance charge. It can be a bit daunting, going into somewhere like this for the first time, both as a holidaymaker...- and as a more-mature-but-if-I-say-so-myself-not-unfashionable-type of person, not knowing if you'll stick out like a sore thumb. But there were people of all ages, couples and groups, all just out for a nice time. It was a friendly and relaxed atmosphere, everyone was happy, some dressed up to the nines, some not, some straight from work, only one person fell over and no one laughed when we danced or anything. We found a seat, ordered some drinks (not expensive) and an excellent band came on and played all the stuff we wanted to hear from our soul disco days. People started dancing almost immediately - either on the floor in front of the small stage, or just where they happened to be! We went home with sore feet, ringing in the ears and the satisfaction of having got down on it in Brisbane. A top night out!More
