My boyfriend + I just came here for something quick to eat in-between viewing apartments. The waitress was soooo lovely! Her attitude + presence was just so warm, welcoming + friendly! We told her we didn't have long and she made sure our food arrived...quickly. I had the ham + cheese toastie and my boyfriend had the BLT + a flat white. The food was delicious as was the coffee and the prices were actually very reasonable and more on the cheap side! I will definitely be returning to try the full breakfast!More

We had time to fill in and were looking for a breakfast place around South Bank which was open early. This place looked ok, with a reasonable breakfast menu. I had a bacon and egg roll ( it was ok) but my husband’s lamb and...feta wrap was extremely disappointing. The meat was full of fat and didn’t taste fresh. To add insult we were charged a credit card fee when I paid by eftpos. We have paid by eftpos at many cafes and restaurants and never paid a fee.More

We stopped in for breakfast on a Sunday morning. The waitress was new and told us so, and we were fine with that. But - she got our order wrong, forgot to bring us water for ages, came back to check our order, corrected it...on a notepad (might have been a good idea to write it down in the first place). Eventually my husband's meal arrived. He waited a few minutes expecting mine to appear (yes, we ordered both at the same time) and then began eating. He finished eating and my meal still hadn't arrived. We were at the register paying for his meal and when asked: "Are you paying together or separately?" replied that the second meal hadn't come out when the new waitress appeared with the meal I'd ordered an hour earlier and begged me to sit down and eat it. Alone. While my husband watched me eat as I'd had to sit and watch him. Really? Suggest you keep walking. There are plenty of other cafes along Southbank where the service and timing will be better.More

Stopped into this place for a coffee and a snack. Staff were efficient and friendly. I ordered a cappuccino and fresh baked mixed berry muffin. The coffee as served quickly and was the right temperature and acidity. The seating was kerbside or inside. The window...seats inside are the best for breeze on a hot day. I would recommend this place on weekdays and would consider returning with my family for a meal.More

Staff were noticeably friendly and helpful, making the whole breakfast experience highly enjoyable. The coffee had good flavour and strength. A good selection of tasty breakfast options!

This looked like a great place to stop for breakfast. Unfortunately there was a number of problems. The big breakfast had tinned mushrooms that had a burnt taste to them. All plates that had poached eggs had too much vinegar used and overpowered the flavour....Scrambled eggs had burnt bits through them. Coffee tasted weak, order was wrong and overcharged. Just keep walking there are other cafes on the street.More

After a leisurely bicycle ride into Southbank we stopped in for breakfast, food was ok to good, price was similar, however, the staff are simply brilliant. Thanks so much for an enjoyable meal we will be back.

Staff were nice but that was where it ended for me. I wanted the fruit salad with yoghurt that was on the menu, they don't have it anymore, apparently wasn't there last week either according to the waitress, coffee wasn't great and at 4.50 for...a small lactose free cup was too expensive to not be good. Add 1.5% on all card transactions and they can rest assured I will not be returning.More

easy to drop into for quick snack friendly staff and owner that will go out of their way to give good service. Unfortunately it is on the main road which is very noisy and when buses stack up at the lights the smell of the...exhaust and noise prevent longer visits.More
