We had the pleasure of dining at this amazing restaurant seated at the kitchen. We watched with amazement the intense artistry of the chefs and wait staff. The food is a complete joy and the passion and intensity they give is inspiring. We were completely...jealous of the other orders but loved our seared wagyu and vegetables. WE are so lucky to have such a fine eating house on our doorstep. We will back to try the rest of the dishes soon, bravoMore

Absolutely beautiful food. The smoked duck is incredible! Burrata was lovely, everyone enjoyed their meals. Would definitely recommend. Two plates per person and dessert was enough. Loved it. Great service.

Cracking feed and great service. The set menu was amazing and gave us some treats we would Bjørn have normally ordered. The slow growing heritage chicken was authentic and beautifully cooked. Special meal to remember.

Our dinner was on the same night as a large wine tasting function and we had the Chef's Menu which I suspect may have been the same for the event. It wasn't up to the standard of a previous lunch in terms of taste, finesse...or presentation. Dick liver parfait was a early highlight and sadly most of the rest of the meal wasn't memorable, including the usually reliable lamb shoulder. The service was good and the wine was enjoyable but we didn't finish our food which appears have been more focused on volume rather than quality. Still we will go back as I think that this was a glitch, avoiding a function may be a good strategy for the next visit.More

Moda is an apparently modest Tapas bar, located at the top of Caxton Street in the entertainment district. It has taken a while to gain a following, but is increasingly popular. It is larger than it appears, but is comfortable and quiet. The food is,...as advertised, basically fashionable nibbles, but they are excellent, and there is a nice selection of imported wines. Service is polite and attentive. Not cheap. If there are two of you, don’t expect to leave with less than a three figure bill.More

The food at Moda, The Barracks is simply one of the best experiences I have had in Brisbane, and in fact, anywhere in Australia. Francois, Javier and their team create culinary delights, the wine list was excellent and the service was warm, welcoming and attentive....Thankyou so much for a great evening - we will be back.More

Valentines Day lunch, superb tapas and brasa! Excellent food, great service awesome wine list. Javier and the MODA team shone brightly. Jalapeño stuffed w goat’s cheese, scallops, fresh burrata, zucchini flowers stuffed w a delicate salmon mousse and a duck terrine offered as a shared...tapas entree whetted the appetite for the wagyu rump and WA crayfish brasa. The rump sublime perfectly cooked this was served with a ridiculously tasty and smoky potato bravas. The crayfish yum! Before dessert a chocolate on chocolate affair Javier surprised us with a plate of the best seafood I have ever eaten WA scampi grilled baked garlic butter chives. MODA by far the best Spanish restaurant in Brisbane if not the Best Restaurant in Brisbane.More
