We had a fun evening at the German Club. The staff were friendly and attentive. The food was delicious and very generous servings. The beer was cold and delicious. The company was magnificent. What more could one ask for! Looking forward to our next visit.

Checking in was easy - Drivers licence scanner and the staff were very friendly. We had booked even though it was a Tuesday evening and just as well we had as the club was very busy. We had checked out the Downloadable menu from their...website so we had a good idea of what we wanted to order. There is an excellent range of meals and desserts. The Sauerbraten with Spatzle was my choice whilst my wife had a chicken schnitzel. The Sauerbraten was really authentic - just like I remember and the servings were huge. I would have like to have had a dessert but unfortunately I had no more room. I washed my meal down with an excellent German beer and a schnapps. We will definitely go back there the next time we are in Brisbane.More

Pork hock - 11/10 brilliant flavours, cooked to perfection, excellent value for money, simply orgasmic!! Kaiser taster 10/10 brilliant flavours, everything was cooked to perfection, fantastic value for money, simply orgasmic!! Customer service... ohh dear 1/10 and that is because the food was brought out...to us, otherwise there was nothing in the way of customer service. Nobody greeted us or even acknowledged us when we got there, nobody approached at any stage before, during or after we ate. I understand that it's a busy venue, however I have been to multiple busy venues where the customer service was brilliant. I gave the venue an overall rating of 3 stars on account of the orgasmic food. To view my video review, simply head to my TripAdvisor profile and click on the link to my website.More

Great night at the German Club , authentic beer and great menu selection catering for all tastes. Hearty portions, and friendly attentive staff. The one man band was a little‘yesterday’, and louder than necessary but it’s a beer hall setting after all.

27 of us had a reunion here (worked together in Austria Alps in the 1980’s). This Club is as close as we get to a Munich Beer Hall. Great atmosphere, wide range of German beers and wine, food was really good and large helpings. The...place was CoVid packed yet the staff were fast and super friendly!More

Staff very helpful on entry Sat 21 Nov 2020. Arrived relatively early which was great to beat the queues. We hired a taxi there and back - will do that again for sure. The atmosphere is very lay back and busy. Staff achieve so much...in a relaxed manner. The food on arrival is a wow factor. Enormous sizes. We tried the pretzels too. O-M-G you could eat them forever. The premises are somewhat tired, and it would have been nice to have a little entertainment on a Saturday night. But honestly, you go there fore the food and company. Everything about the food was so moist and delicious. Loved it. A great place to go and just have a good time. Highly recommend. We will be backMore

I totally enjoyed the atmosphere of the German Club .. very fun and vibrant, with a splash of youthfulness. Servers on the bar could be a little more personable, but on the whole, it's good

I was really excited when I booked a table in the German Club. Unfortunately the first impressions were really bad. An old, run-down club that failed to renovate in time. I ordered goulash with spaetzle. Unfortunately I got a meal that was so bad that...you couldn't eat it. The goulash was so hard that you had problems cutting it with a knife, the spaetzle were just like the sauce without any taste. It was by far the worst meal of my life. As a rule, the German kitchen is one of the best in the world, unfortunately the chef in the German club has failed across the board. In no case can I recommend eating here.More

We visited the German club for lunch before the footy last Sunday & loved the food & how handy it is to the ground. Hadn’t been for awhile but it did not disappoint us we will certainly be back. Great place for a catch up...before the game & for larger groups of family/friends.More

Great food and service. Recommend the pork knuckle. Crackling was awesome while the inside remained tender and moist.

Hey guys, not sure if they do. It’s a buffet style dinner where you go and line up and order of the board and they dish it up straight away for you. Didn’t see any one do take away.
