Have come here twice in the past couple of months for a lunch only to find it closed when their advertised opening hours have it open. Fix your web site or be open when you say.

The food was overpriced for what you received. The choices were limited and a few main meals on the menu would be advantageous.

Haven't been here for 12 months and to my surprise what was a great small restaurant is now a greater small wine bar. Service, wines and knowledge of the wines, as well as a new smaller, but seriously flavored ,are all worth the time to fine and visit. Music is from vinyl discs and at a level you can hear... More

We ate at Anise on a Friday evening. We were recommended by our hosts at Heal House-an easy walk. We sat at the bar on very comfortable stools. Our host and owner Thames has designed a menu which is creative and delicious. The produce was fresh and sourced locally. His wine knowledge and cellar provided the perfect accompaniment to our... This place is very small (VERY small), so make sure you book. An interactive meal/wine tasting at the bar - but private enough for a couple's night out. Great food, great wine, great service. Reminds me very much of Momofuku, NYC.

Anise is one of my favourite restaurants in Brisbane. The menu changes all the time so keep an open mind. You sit at the bar or a couple small tables. Dimly lit. The food is very good for Brisbane and the wines are delicious. You will need a booking. Enjoy!

We first found this tiny bar/restaurant many years ago and always make sure we manage to fit it into our itinerary when visiting Brisbane. Friendly, generous service with a great selection of wines and delicious and beautifully presented dishes. Make sure you book as it's so tiny!

Always a great time to be had at this premium bar / dinning experience. Food is exceptional and the staff know what they're talking about when matching the wine to meal. It's not that cheap for 2 people more of a special occasion place. No matter who you bring here they will love it.

Too a mate out for her birthday recently and this was her request. We had the degustation with matching wines which i think was about $150pp. It was 5 courses of generous sized meals, but sadly the matching wine was literally 2 sips worth - tasty, just thought it was a bit stingy. Meals were good. We had pork jowl,... More

Fine food and service to match to make it more of an experience than just a belly filler. Excellent explanation of wines to compliment food.
