A great find near the waterside in Brisbane. Very clean and comfortable setting and although expensive it was good food. The peshwari naan was excellent and the best for many a year. The jalfrezi hot and tasty but a shame it was not the best...chicken. Poppadoms could be bigger and the chutney servings small for the money paid. Service wad good early but as it got busy it faded and we were left with dishes on the table and not taken and no service or questioning if we wanted deserts.More

In entree ordered onion pakora. Funny part, there were no onions in there. Just a chunk of chickpea flour. Seemed like was frozen and just heated in microwave. I bet you order any bhaji, you get this one. Ordered paneer tikka masala and chicken meethi...with naan rice salad The paneer dish was actually not tikka Masala, it was either paneer butter masala or shahi paneer. Deception 😂 Anyways didn’t taste bad though. Chicken dish wasn’t good. Salad seemed to be chopped by an ignorant person using knife for the first time. Lol too big chunks. Overall highly rated and too expensive Seems like they have only a set number of dishes and you get only these irrespective of what you order.More

Managed a grab the last table for two on a Saturday night. The greeting, seating and service were all exceptional. Entrees were tasty and as ordered. The madras lamb ordered 'medium' was a little tasteless. Rice superb. Maybe the ambience could improve but otherwise one...to return to.More

Love Love Love this restaurant. Whether you eat in or take away, the food is exceptional, always consistent, no surprises. Their curries are full of flavour and quality ingredients, ample servings and good service with a smile. The coconut naan is heavenly. Cannot go wrong...with eating here. Plenty of parking, great location. Please try, you won't regret.More

My family booked a table online to eat in at Aamaya restaurant. We received a e-mail stating that our reservation was confirmed with the correct time and date. When we turned up to the restaurant the front of house staff said they did not have...our booking and they were very rude about it, we even showed them the email confirmation. They did not have a table for us even though we booked in advance. We had to order takeaway. Through out this the staff were not apologetic about our booking being messed up and were very cold towards me and my family. While the food is very good, we will not be going back just because the service we received was so bad.More

I took my husband here for his birthday, and we had a great time and ate some amazing food. The naan is fresh and great for eating with curry. We had a couple other appetizers that were also great. The curry was fantastic. The restaurant...is in a nice location, too, right by the river.More

I ordered take out on the advice of an Indian friend who recommended this restaurant. I had the chicken lemon Hara Dhaniya and added naan. Very tasty and well spiced not too hot . I would return to try the butter chicken . Usually open...at dinner time except for Friday when it’s open for lunch . Closed on Tuesdays . Located at Portside Hamilton.More
