We recently had takeaway from the restaurant - excellent service and meal. One little snag though. When we arrived home with our take away, most of the both curries had somewhat spilled out of the container into the plastic bag, really, really messy. First thought - person packing it up did not snap the lids on properly or the heat from the curries may have popped the lids open. We were disappointed that we ended up not having the usual amount of curries with our rice.

We were on our way back from an engagement at the Gold Coast on a Saturday night and felt like indian food so googled and found this restaurant. The staff were very helpful and friendly and took our orders quickly. I had a Lamb Korma and it was delicious. The meat was so tender. My partner had the chicken Biyrani. Apparently it was a bit bland so had to add salt to give it some taste. The plain naan bread was very nice. Overall though, a very nice meal.

The best Indian we have had! Everything we ordered was absolutely delicious and fresh. Will definitely be back again and will be recommending to our friends. Service was great and the staff were extremely friendly.

We have eaten in at the restaurant for a number of years and always had a good experience.
We decided to try home delivery and experienced the worst service and cold, tasteless and very disappointing food.
1. Took around 1.5 hours for food to be delivered.
2. There was no option to order rice online. We realised about 5 minutes after placing our order and phoned the restaurant directly to add rice. They promised to add complimentary rice with our order. It was not provided.
3. Rice was delivered another 40 minutes or so after original order.
4. Entrees arrived cold and tasteless.
5. Quality of food was much lower than previous dine-in experiences.
Overall, this was the most disappointing experience I've ever had.
Despite the restaurant eventually offering a full refund I strongly doubt we will ever eat here again.

Six of us attended the restaurant for dinner.
The food was authentic, and portions were large.
The location was nice, and I loved the little candle heater detail.

Had a very enjoyable birthday dinner tonight with my family (6 of us). The staff were lovely, the meals plentiful and tasty. Amazing value using a Groupon voucher. Highly recommend.

It was my daughter’s first birthday party on friday 22nd oct. three months ago my husband and me we went to Gateway of India restaurant which is 9 murrajong road springwood. We met to Jass(Justin) owner of the restaurant. We booked 23rd of oct on Saturday. Even he checked in his system date is available or not. He said call you tomorrow. Then he called us next day said all good you guys are booked on Saturday 23rd of oct 2021. I asked him leta decide menu and everything he said we ll do prior party like week before. I said ok .we called him again after 3 months he said come on Tuesday on 12 oct 2021 . We went there decided top price of plate. We were very happy coz it was my first event in Australia.everything was perfect. Then he played game with us, he called us on friday same week that we cannot do on 23rd oct we can do on 22nd. We already had booking Dj, photographer, cake everything. Big thing we already sent invitations to my all near and dears. We requested him a-lot dont do this coz at that moment we couldn’t get any restaurant or couldn’t change everything. It was worse situation for us. He said No i checked with hotel staff they have conference on 23rd. But that cheater Jass booked a party of 150 people on that day which we got info on the day when we went on 22nd oct at 3pm to drop some stuff. We decided 22nd coz we didn’t have options. So, i was very disappointed and his behaviour was not good when we went there around 5:30pm. He was very rude. I dont know why atleast he should give us extra attention and extra else service. But no he was showing attitude that day. So party was started 5:30 and guest were coming. We were waiting for appetisers which came on 6:45🙄 and there was nothing to drink. Ok after that they put entree’s at 7:30 then we cut the cake around 8:15 we dance and dinner served around 9pm . My all guests were having dinner and they were going back to their homes. It was 10:10 my family members didn’t have dinner so my brother took a plate from table jass came and said sorry you cannot have food 😡. Do you think its good for a restaurant owner who s businessman and in customer service position behaving rude with their own customers. My brother requested him let me have but Jass started shouting on my brother and said get out from my restaurant you all are stupid people. And his mom came and pushed my brother back twice . It was too much for us. At the end, Guys please do not go and book any party at Gateway of India. That family is sick i think they need treatment. They ruined my daughter’s birthday party. I would strongly recommend you don’t eat at this restaurant or do not organise any event,parties , the owner was very rude.

Just ordered a home delivery and oh my god what a taste sensation ! The food was great, value was great and the delivery on time was great !! I travel frequently and eat a lot of restaurant quality food and this would be amongst the best Indian I have had. Will be a regular with this place

Some of the best Indian I've had. Love the place and the staff go above and beyond to make it nice. Generous food servings and we'll worth the money by far. Amazing experience made very special. Thanks staff.

We have been to this restaurant a few times now and have loved it every time. The tables are a little small though for when the food arrives.
The food is wonderful, we went there with friends as well and they loved it too. Really good wholesome cooking that we end up take some home for lunch the next day. Thoroughly recommend this place.

Excellent restaurant. Very clean in a good location. The menu provided a substantial selection of Indian cuisine. The meal was served a short period after ordering. The meal was of a very high standard and offered value for money.

Ordered takeaway recently and was very pleasantly surprised with the generous servings and authentic Indian flavours. There was plenty of meat in the dishes we ordered. Will definitely dine here next time we want Indian.
