Urgh, where do I start? Dirty tables, disposable plastic cups for smoothies (we were dining in), cold bacon and eggs (asked to be heated on grill - it was microwaved!!!! - when questioned, was eyeballed by the chef), cold toast, hard avocado, surly service. No...knives and forks, was simply rinsed and wiped before given to us. It’s a shame because we live very local, definitely won’t be back.More

Although we have lived here for 3 years, we never have eaten at Site - this morning we went for breakfast and weren't disappointed. The classic omelet was a satisfying meal, and my choice of veg tapas was especially delicious : eggs, haloumi, eggplant, zucchini,...mushrooms, tomatoes, roasted red pepper, spinach, and potato balls! Couldn't finish it, and still full 6 hours laterMore

We had previously enjoyed breakfast at Site Cafe and so it was an easy and quick decision to pop down for breakfast on our Sunday morning. We were seated quickly and given some menus to have a look over. After about 5 or so minutes...we ordered two cold brews, a smashed avo with eggs and the Arabian eggs. From here it all went downhill. We waited half an hour for our cold brews to arrive, only for them to be plonked on our table with no word of apology for the length of time it took to pour some cold coffee into a plastic cup (being dine-in customers I had assumed we would at least receive our drinks in actual glasses). To add salt to the wound, we then saw the table next to us receive their coffees within 5 minutes of ordering them. Having coffees in our hands, we continued to chat for a little bit, assuming our food would be arriving soon. No less than 20 minutes later, a total of 50mins since ordering our food, we saw what looked to be our breakfast (and it was) come from the kitchen, be walked outside for a little bit, and then returned inside and placed on our table when it was established that the dishes were for us. There was no whisper of an apology for the length of time it took for our breakfast to make it to our table, and at this point it was basically brunch now that it was almost 11am. I immediately asked if we could have our food to takeaway, as my partner was starting work and so we needed to get home. The waiter was able to do this quite promptly and did apologise when he came back with our takeaway breakfast that it had taken so long. Upon paying, the waiter informed us she had removed our coffees from our bill and apologised again for how long everything had taken, this was appreciated. We drove home (less than a 5 minute drive) and began eating our breakfast. The smashed avo was reasonably good, eggs runny etc etc. The Arabian eggs, however, I was beyond disappointed with. The halloumi was so rubbery that it was almost inedible and I just could not eat it. The toast that came on the side was cold and rock solid. Granted we did drive home and I understand this may have affected the toast, however knowing that the dish was walked around outside before eventually being brought to our table makes me believe that the toast was cold and hard well before even being placed in a takeaway box. Had I eaten this breakfast at the cafe and it was of this quality, I would not have paid for it. From what we had hoped would be a lovely breakfast down at our local cafe, it turned into a morning of feeling stressed for time and frustrated at the disappointing quality of our breakfast. I doubt we will be returning anytime soon.More

On first appearance my breakfast looked appetizing! I started working my way around my vegetable tapas. AND THEN I SAW IT. MOULD. Quite severe too. In several places on my pieces of kale. It made me feel sick. I tried to keep eating around where...the kale wouldn't have touched but also made me question the rest of the food so I stopped eating. I didn't want to be rude so I quietly beckoned over a staff member. I told her, she looked alarmed and took the kale into the kitchen to show the chef. But only came back with "the chef says sorry". That's it. And didn't even offer to make my Piccolo free. Like honestly, not even a gesture of goodwill. Pretty poor customer service. You could have made me very ill! Also, the service staff weren't particularly great. Bumped into my partner several times while walking by, split water all over our table and later put the incorrect amount in the eftpos and had to redo... Not a great experience. DO NOT RECOMMEND.More

We happened upon Site Cafe this morning, and it was a great find. The service was warm, friendly and helpful. The coffee was great and the food excellent. We had breakfast... but the menu for lunch looked equally appetising. Will definitely go back.

This busy little cafe sure packs a big punch. We breakfasted here one Tuesday (mid morning) and were happy we did so. All the usual breakfast favourites are available and some creative items too, such as the Canadian Waffles, and the Big Breakfast Tapas. Service...is good as is the coffee. Only one little hitch, our table was on a slant and the juices from the mushrooms and poached egg ran off the presentation board and onto my lap. Prices are very reasonable and the portion sizes are large. Dogs are also welcome to join clients at the outside tables.More

The food we ordered was good, well cooked and good sized portions, but nothing overly special. Coffee was great, tropical smoothie was below average and not particularly fruity. Both mains were $20, staff was nice.
