Nicely appointed suburban pub with a decent, reasonably priced pub bistro menu and drinks. The meals were all generous serves, and our group of four enjoyed what we had.

Dropped in for dinner just after 8pm in response to our friends recommending the place.
Staff were friendly - no problem.
Ordered meals and with the chicken schnitzel came a choice of salad or veges. In COVID times when all you get is salad everywhere, I opted for the veges.
Meal was barely passable - chicken could have spent some more time on the hot plate (the serve size was good), the chips were insipid and the veges - one small piece broccoli, two small pieces cauliflower, two small strips of carrot - wow!
Pricing was at the higher end for this type of meal so not impressed this time - definite room for improvement.

This took me some courage to write considering my love for the place . Been coming here with the family for a few years now. I was here on New Year’s Day (1st of jan) wanting to spend the new year in a good atmosphere. This was ruined by the lady in the bar, carrie. She always has a very rude attitude and very poor customer service everytime we come in but this time it absolutely RUINED our new year. Very negative lady. Won’t be coming back because of her and her lousy excuse of customer service.

Very disappointed after supporting this local hotel for a very long time. Chef and kitchen staff are very professional, tonight I gave this hotel the last opportunity to deliver and was most disappointed. After ordering a few beers the young lady behind the bar suggested I’m a bit worried that doesn’t look right. Well yes she was right, it was flat they didn’t even have any head on them and was like drinking water. So very politely I mentioning to the bar staff there seems to be something going on with the beer she straight away called the what I believe was the duty manager and she held a small amount up in the air and glared at me what made me far from impressed. Didn’t come to see me as I wasn’t making a complaint I was just being nice about it. I manage a lot of staff and would suggest the owner to look into what is going on, I feel you need someone that will recognise the people that are supporting you and look after them. No complementary wings for the third time even after asking what happened with the wings tonight. I’d deeply recommend you do something immediately with your management and training as this is loosing you business. So unprofessional unless things change I wouldn’t bother to return

We have visited a number of times,always impressed,generous portions,and delicious. staff are courteous, professional. food is delivered in a reasonable time.Love the booths,they are generous size.My only criticism is at the entrance,a sign saying queue here,which i'm sure was bought in during covid restrictions,maybe take it off,we waited,until chef out the back told us to go thru

Nice atmosphere but don't eat the fish. Got the runs after lunch and the bar manager tried to palm it off but we hadn't eaten anywhere else.
She just brushed me off when I reported this. I hope no one else eats the fish today

I ordered eye fillet steak $34 today and quite disappointed. My parents ordered different steak and same problem. It was chewy , tough . No hate but wanted they improve their meat quality and better service . Thanks

It has been a while since we have been here but was nicely surprised. Not the standard pre-made sauces and salads with your meals. Seems like freshly prepared from scratch food.

Came here for my first fathers day lunch with the extended family and bubba. Staff were all friendly and the food was fantastic. Surprisingly little gem hidden behind what seems to be something completely different when driving past on the road

Visited Tingalpa Hotel for my Mum’s belated birthday lunch. Staff were friendly and attentive, food was amazing, serving sizes were huge, and the complementary honey chicken wings were a nice treat/surprise. The only downsides were the kids ice cream not being included in kids meal price + $3.90 each, and the baby change facilities are in the two disabled toilets. The disabled toilet closest to the dining area is very large, but would benefit from having a separate shelf for the nappy bag so you don’t put it on the germ-y floor or have wear it while trying to change a wriggly baby at the same time. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

This hotel has had a refurbishment a while ago and caters to everyone's tastes. It is one of my go to places when meeting up with friends/family for lunch or dinner. There is an outdoor playground and indoor games room for children. The meals never disappoint. Plenty of parking out the back of the hotel.

Thought "let's try someplace local". I'd been looking at the Norman and pineapple Hotel and was craving some bovine.
I'm a fan of the eye fillet, I Know it's small cut but quality not quantity right. What I got was about the size of a montecarlo biscuit. I moved the generic pub salad around the plate hoping to find some more of what I'd paid for... Steak. Sadly it wasnt a prank and that was it.
It was free topper night so I had the bug... Which I had to dig out of the shell. There surely must be some law on the size of bug they can keep as there is with fish. What I dug out was a tea spoon of "bleh"
Moving on, the chips... They would have been quite OK if I'd eaten them an hour earlier when they were cooked.
So. Overall it was less than average and sod supporting someplace local if they are going to trot out "Bleh"
