I love the roast duck salad here. I trek across town to have it, hence the four star rating. Ginga has a sushi train and an a la carte menu. I don't eat from sushi trains though the food here is freshly made and looks nice. Ginga is a great place for casual dining and tasty food.

This place has a great variety of food choices and menu choices as well I had both sushi train and ordered. Staff are polite and I would definitely come back here.

saw a movie then had dinner with the family. Straight in with a selection of many dishes. friendly service and a fast in out scenario was easy. Inexpensive with the added bonus of extra 10% with the movie tickets.

Came here for a quick bite to eat after a movie (had really wanted to go to Sono but it was unfortunately between sittings so it was closed). We decided to call in at this place and just get miso soup and some dumplings off the menu but I did end up also taking some dishes off the sushi "train"... More

Six of us had a delightful Japanese meal at Ginga's before heading to a movie. The experience of the sushi train along with a dish of marinated chicken breast was delicious and fun. Service was great.

My only complaint is I love avacado and cucumber mini rolls but invariably have to order them from the menu - so I don't get the joy of plucking them off the train 😁

This is one of two restaurants specialising in Japanese cuisine at Portside in Brisbane, but they couldn't be further apart. One is Sono - a very upmarket venue with exquisite Japanese; the other - Ginga (this one) - is basically a sushi train -style restaurant (but with a conveyor belt rather than a model train). You can select from dishes... More

I love Ginga sushi. I mostly order from the train but also order Tempura often. Relatively quiet in a fun location. Great quality and yummy 👍

We have been here 40 minutes with 5 plates between us. If your train is going to be empty what is the point?? We didn't come to order food and wait, we came for a SUSHI TRAIN, but the train is bare and it has been for 40 minutes!!! Terrible. We are walking out.

They have taken away the Train and in its place have put a conveyor belt and this is what it feels like. The Food was bland and the service was slow as the persons did not speak much english and had to be done by sign language, A pity if you are allergic to something. Given, it was a public... More
