Extremely rainy day and evening. Parked in the manly hotel parking lot, made our way inside and some patchy areas which had rain coming through in the back hallways. Table of 10 of us booked to eat. Drinks were ordered, reasonable price. We ordered our...dinner, a bit more expensive than I would of thought, kids steak is $14. I ordered special full rack of chine bbq pork ribs and chips. Wife ordered the parmy. Meals took a while even though only 4 tables full. Meals came out all together. My wife highly recommends the parmy. The ribs were an 7/10, not a whole lot of the flavour could be tasted. Over all a good place to get a feed for the familyMore

Dropped in for lunch. Barra burger was lovely, grilled not crumbed or battered. Fish was perfectly cooked and the chips super crunchy. Service was a little slow given how few customers there were.

Visited one night for dinner whilst staying close by, and I certainly wasn’t let down. The meals came out super quick and they were quite busy. Good sized meals and great options on the menu to suit everyone. We even had a gentleman come around...towards the end of our meals to ask if the meals were up to standard, and that takes courage when so many people are so quick to complain. No one left the table hungry.More

Very average meals. Be advised - if you intend to use an Entertainment voucher, the staff are not familiar with "Rules of Use" and will only accept ONE voucher per transaction, even if there are four or more people eating and there are multiple vouchers....Begs the question: why be part of this arrangement???More

Three of us ate here and were all a bit disappointed with part of our meals. The salt and pepper calamari was tender and the salad had a pleasant dressing but all the chips were unpleasant. To start with they were rather cold. They were a bit shriveled...and dry. Obviously they had been waiting a while before they were served. The fish was excellent.Desserts were large and the mousse was light and fluffy. The apple pie was so -so, but came with lots of cream which saved the day.The staff were all very pleasant.More

I took two friends here for lunch on a Saturday, the restaurant was very busy but the staff still manged to keep the service going at a brisk pace. One of our party had the seafood platter and the other two opted for the flathead...at the seniors' special prices. Those two specials came with desert which was much more filling than we expected, so we all came away contentedly full. The location near the bay, along with the general atmosphere of the hotel, is conducive to consuming seafood - other friends tell me I should have tried the barramundi, so will be back for that soon.More

Both our steaks were tough. The salad was just a pile of leaves with one little cherry tomato. The vegies were plentiful but over salted and there were no spuds. The new menu has significantly reduced the number and variety of GF meals so if you...have coeliac disease, don't expect a lot of choice. Basically, this place has gone downhill and it is not surprising that there were only a handful of customers there on a Sunday night. We will not be going back.More
