We get takeaway from here often as it’s always tasty and in good portions. They were extremely helpful with my most recent order when I stuffed up the order!

The setting is delightful and service attentive and graceful. Chicken Satay and Dim Sim entrees were wonderfully fresh tasting, the chicken grilled perfectly as it would be in Thailand itself. Pad Thai and BBQ chicken also hard to fault, maybe a little more chilli heat...would have been good with the noodle dish and will ask for chilli on the side next time. Efficient and very good value, in all a significant step up from most Australian Thai restaurants with the delicacy of flavours and attention to detail in food presentation.More

I rode past this restaurant on Saturday and saw a sign saying it was one of Queensland’s best Thai restaurants so we decided we would try it. It was lovely - setting was lovely as most of the seating is outside, it is BYO and...food and service worth the visit. There was also a guy singing which was nice to listen to. Parking is also easy.More

A former work colleague and I enjoyed and early lunch here on Thursday 22nd November 2018. Our meal commenced with a mixed entrée plate comprising two spring rolls, a curry puff, a fish cake and two sticks of chicken satay. All of these were fitting...appetizers. Our main meals were rice with green chicken curry and red beef curry. The meats were tender and the curries were mildly sweetish and quite pleasant to our palettes. Our drinks were melon ice crush and coconut water. I sipped the coconut water with a broad straw, but had to use my fingers to get at the slices of coconut meat at the base of the glass. Pity they did not provide a long-handled spoon. Overall, the service from the chef was very good and the dishes were scrumptious.More

The meal was great from start to finish, nice sate sauce although the chicken skewers were a bit dry however the Thai sausage was a delight. The BBQ chicken stir fry, Massaman curry and Pad Thai were all perfect and being BYO is a bonus...too. Service was prompt and friendly.More

Visited this restaurant with my grandmother and was delighted by the decent portions and authentic taste. However the restaurant was a bit understaffed taking a while for them to notice that we were even in the restaurant.

You will not be disappointed if you go to this lovely little restaurant for lunch or dinner! The quality of the food that is shared with you is just delicious. I have tried quite a few dishes but my favourite is always the pad thai...which I'm told is made all the more special with the home made tamarind sauce. The attention to detail is great with lime wedges in each pad thai! The curries I've tried were awesome too. Combine the great food with the lovely service and you have yourself a great lunch or dinner out or takeaway at home!More

Siam Pagoda has been a regular with us, for both dine in and take away, over the past 5 years. We enjoyed another good meal here last night with a small group of 6. Thursday night in Brisbane has been the bain of many a...restauranteur, however, Siam Pagoda enjoyed good numbers of dine in patrons and a steady flow of take away customers. This restaurant has a lot of repeat customers and that is a good reflection of the consistant food and friendly staff. Last night we had five different dishes and each was enjoyed. The food here is not necessarily the best and most authentic Thai available. It is, however, of a good consistent quality that keeps people coming back. I do have a few comments about the quality and presentation of some ingredients, particularly the seafood. Basa being used in the Tamarind Fish dish is disappointing as the texture of this fish is not particularly enjoyable. Similarly the omni-present Vannamaii prawns, with tail on ever in soup dishes, are poor. The service staff are friendly and attentive and overall this is a good suburban restaurant.More

My wife and I lunched at Siam Pagoda on Thursday 4th January 2018. Our entrée comprised: Curry Puffs (vegetarian) – 4 pieces with a sweet & sour dip. The potato filling was steaming hot, but on the whole it was a nice appetiser. Tom Yum...Chicken Soup and Tom Kha Chicken Soup - each quite distinctive in flavour. The Tom Yum was unusually sourish, while the Tom Kha with coconut milk was a bit more sweetish and very palatable. The floating chilli oil gave the soups a zing. Our mains comprised: Pad Prew Wann (Sweet & Sour) Beef – tender beef slices with broccoli, cauliflower, carrot, capsicum, onion, spring onion, zucchini, beans, pineapple and lychee. Tamarind Fish (basa) – 3 battered and fried fillets doused with special Thai-style tamarind sauce and garnished with julienned radish, spring onions and fried onions. Both the main dishes were well presented, and the Tamarind Fish was especially tasty. These dishes were served with steamed jasmine rice in an ornate Thai utensil. Our drinks were coconut water - with slices of tender coconut kernel. These were served in a glass with a drinking straw – it would have been better if a long-handled spoon was provided to scoop up the coconut slices. The chef/owner and his wife were pleasant and friendly. We were served by the chef himself. Overall, it was quite an enjoyable lunch indeed.More
