Centrally located in the heart of Brisbane Mick O'Malleys Irish Pub is a great meeting point for bar and food service. It boasts a real Irish menu with great atmosphere. Food is reasonably priced and the service is great. There is free wifi available that is easy to connect with. Highly recommend the steak and guinness pie.

My husband and I had lunch here on Saturday and we both ordered the steak sandwich, and it.was.to.DIE.for!!! It was lunch and dinner in one go (my husband and I will be sharing next time!) - awesome value for money and the steak was fantastic. It well and truly exceeded expectations for "pub grub!". I thought the menu seemed pricey... More

Our table ordered Fish, Steak Nd Steak Burger. The 3 of us all enjoyed our meals. Good meal size but excellent service. Although it is a windowless pub the atmosphere was great and you do not feel claustrophobic. Great find!

Stopped for lunch, served by pleasant young girl with limited English. She got our order totally wrong but I went with what was brought for me as we didn't want to wait another 20 minutes for a replacement. Bad move..... ..... odd taste which I thought was blue cheese. 30 mins later threw the lot up across the shopping mall!... More

Food was great, typical bar food and nicely presented. Really noisy so not for a quiet or romantic lunch. Found myself shouting over general noise to be heard. Also very dark inside, weird for during the day. Would be better for evening visit.

Walking down the stairs to this basement bar I had no idea what to expect. I was immediately impressed by the volume(not too loud) and type (easy listening) of the music. The pulled beef brisket burger and the pulled pork burgers were delicious and the pints of Magners cider were a bargain at $8. The staff were friendly and everything... More

Caught up with a few friends for drinks and dinner mid-week. Was a lovely evening - with a slight hum of people chatting and the music audible, but not overpowering, you could actually chat to one and other and not have a headache by the end of it! The food was good, big serves though! (When you have a tiny... More

Stopped by Mick O'Malleys for beers with colleagues after work on a Friday. We were able to grab a booth and enjoyed a few rounds. I can't offer any advise on the food, but would suggest it as a good spot to gather and quench your thirst.

We had a quick supper jere and the mushroom soup was delicious but the cajun chicken salad had never met any cajun spices. It was very bland but the chicken wings were nice and spicy.

My friend and I left Gilhooly's where the atmosphere was friendly and service great. I did however have my mind set on cabbage and bacon for lunch so we headed for O'Malley's. They had the better Irish menu. I'd been there a few times for a quick pint while waiting for my bus. Even then, the service was average and... More
