We decided to come here as we fancied an Indian and were in the area. It was off the beaten track slightly which was great as Fortitude Valley on a Saturday night was crazy and loud and too much. We walked in were shown to...a table straight away and ordered quickly. We had the butter chicken, tikka masala, beef burriyani rice, garlic naan and onion bhajis... it all came quickly, hot, fresh and was to die for! It was so tasty and they asked us when ordering how spicy did we want it, which I had not experienced before in an Indian restaurant. The girls serving us were friendly and polite with no language barriers. The place isn't new or jazzy but by neck the food was the best ever! For all that food and 2 vodka cokes and a beer it came to $87...bargain. I really really recommend this amazing place to all and we have woken up this morning feeling great! We will be back.More

It was a very average experience, the food arrived warm, not hot. The driver sat in the car and made me open up the passenger door to collect my meal. The serving size were average. On the upside, the flavours were good.

The lady owner was quite helpful. Very excellent taste of food. And reasonable price too. Good location to have dine in city.

The restaurant was actually closed - on a Friday evening - usually the busiest night's trading for a restaurant in a working week. The problem for me was that an app took my order, and an eftpost transaction too, as if they were open for...business. I only discovered my folly when I arrived on time to collect my meals to discover that the restaurant was actually closed! Big surprise! And not happy. Then how long does it take to reverse an eftpost transaction? It seems this depends on how much fuss you can create, otherwise it could be up to five days before you get your refund in full. Now fancy doing all this again? No thank you :(More

After struggling to find a good curry house in Brisbane i decided to try Jatt Flava. As the only people in the restaurant i was a little concerned but the food did not disappoint. A very tasty lamb rogan josh with a large sized peshwari...naan along with very reasonable priced alcoholic beverages made this a perfect spot for a meal before heading a short walk down to the valley for a night out.More

Beautiful food delivered straight to your door. You could go to the supermarket and spend $20 on ingredients, make these meals, and throw out the remaining unused ingredients because they might go off. For thirty something dollars I ordered Main Course - Vegetable Shahi Paneer...$ 13.90 Main Course - Vegetable Chana Masala (Medium)$ 10.90 Drinks Lassi Mango Lassi$ 3.90Dessert Gulab Jamun About $3. Two meals. It was delivered swiftly through an app. No complaints. Healthy food at a reasonable price for the category of meals. If I ate in a competing Restaurant that is closed on a Sunday, today, I would only save about $5. Which I would probably spend on coffee anyway.More

Four of us shared a lamb and rice dish, a vegetable dish, a prawn dish, and a beef dish. We agreed that the food was excellent, the service was excellent, and the price was right. $80AUD (about $60US). Park on the east side, but it...can be reached by bus. We used #196More

We took friends for dinner after enjoying a few meals here. Bantir looked after us and gave amazing service. He answered our questions regarding the food, offered advice and provided outstanding service all night. We ordered the meat banquet and the food was excellent. We...all enjoyed the entrees, the servings were so generous we almost couldn't eat the main courses! The naan bread was the best we have tasted, even after a recent visit to India. When we asked if we could take the remaining food home, Bantir happily provided containers and bags. We would thoroughly recommend eating here. Ambience is a bit lacking as it was quiet but Bollywood videos are showing to provide some background music.More

Me and wife were travelling Brisbane and decide to take away some Indian food for dinner to our hotel. We ordered a Shahi Paneer and chole (chick peas) curry, also order 3 different type of naan ( just in case one type is not good)....Both of curries were disgrace and naan were even worst. This is the worst Indian food we have ever tried. I have been to Perth, Adelaide, Melbourne and live in Sydney and tried Indian food at may be 50 different restaurants, this was the worst ever. Just to give you guys an idea how bad it was after spending $55 on takeaway, we had to through it in bin as it was non-eatable. Do not recommend anyway even try there.More

Read a few of the reviews, and must admit I've only been here once, so haven't had a chance to sample everything on the menu, but as far as I can see this place is pretty good for quick simple indian food. I had the...chicken tika masala with naan bread, and it came out quick and delicious, also had the sampler appetizers and everything in it was delicious. This restaurant is on my repeat list.More
