Wow! Can not recommend this place highly enough. On a recent visit for breakfast, I was able to order a child's meal due to not being physically able to eat a full serve post gastric sleeve. Then today, I joined friends for a lunch. I ordered the Asian style beef salad, a generous portion with the most succulent beef strips... More

My friend and I dropped in on a Tuesday afternoon for a couple of drinks and something light to eat. I'd already had lunch so she ordered the Antipasto platter for $18. It was embarrassing. A single tiny scoop of nondescript pâté, a small amount stringy and flavourless prosciutto, a couple of slices of generic salami, one slice of some... More

Went to the full moon hotel with very serious allergies and specific requirements and was very well catered to. Staff went out of their way to make sure I was comfortable and happy with my meal.

The atmosphere at The Full Moon Hotel is lovely in the eating area. Often when eating at hotels it can be difficult to hear over the music, especially on a Saturday night, but we werd there on a Saturday night and you could hear the music but still hold a conversation. Meals were reasonably priced and absolutely delicious!! Definitely recommend!

Nice cool sea breezes and good pub style food. Kids corner keeps everyone happy. We've been here several times and have always been happy with the service and meals.

We went to The Full Moon Hotel for lunch one Friday just recently. The place was clean and spacious, but felt more like a club than a hotel/pub. The staff were super friendly and accommodating. We had a simple lunch, starting with some XXXX Bitters and a bucket of Morton Bay prawns. Now the prawns looked for all intents and... More

Went for dinner there last night. The older guy taking the orders was really grumpy, then missed my husband's order. He was quite rude when I asked if the entree salmon croquettes could be served as a main sized meal... "No, you can have it as a main, but it will be the same size and price!" To their credit... We went to the Full Moon for a quick casual dinner before the Springsteen concert at Boondall. Nice atmosphere, friendly staff. Nicely presented and tasty Wagyu beef and Chicken burgers and chips. Happy hour cheap beers, clean and well presented venue and a nice view. A very pleasant place for a nice casual meal.

Firstly, there is a playroom and good quality kids meals. I had a salad (from a good selection) and the steaks are brilliant. Friendly helpful staff.

Description
With an award-winning restaurant and two fully licensed bars, both offering breathtaking views, The Full Moon Hotel is an ideal spot to escape the clamour and chaos of the CBD. The Moon offers the perfect balance of smooth and friendly service - effortlessly done - and an imaginative and well-priced menu of mouth-watering bar food and high-end pub grub day or night. Famous for premium steaks and quality local seafood served fresh from trawler to plate, you'll also find delectable choices like pulled pork pizza with roasted onions, chilli, rocket and aioli, twice cooked sticky pork ribs with apple, radish, red cabbage and shallot slaw, and warm salad of pulled lamb shoulder, grilled haloumi, fried eggplant, spinach and balsamic shallots, thanks to the culinary creativity of Head Chef Richard Sellers. And if you come for a visit in the morning you'll be welcomed by the sumptuous aroma of freshly baked pastries and sweet treats made on-site by The Moon's own Breakfast Chef, Tamara. Add to that a lengthy menu of well-priced local and imported on-tap and bottled beers, a carefully constructed wine list, and a range of creative cocktails with a thoroughly modern twist, and you have our city's premier destination bar and restaurant at your service. People flock from all over Brisbane to enjoy the vibrant atmosphere and award-winning menu on offer at The Full Moon Hotel. Come and see what all the fuss is about.
