Stumbled upon this Mitchelton gem by accident - what a great find. Good food at a low price so perfect for a midweek dinner.

A good friend of mine and I often catch up over a good Pho. We thought having read reviews we would go to Avachat tonight to try it-more expensive than the amazing Vietnamese food in West End but much closer to home. The Pho (beef) arrived 15 mins after ordering, it was grey in colour and had no smell. As... More

Food was tasty especially make your own rice paper rolls which kids enjoyed. Pork belly was average. Service average. A bit pricey for amount of food.

This delightful restaurant is always relaxed and enjoyable. I had friends from the UK and one had never eaten Vietnamese food before. My pho (northern style chicken noodle soup) was sensational and very filling. After crispy vegetable and meat spring rolls my friends chose rice, ba roi ko (southern style pork belly stew) & bun ga nuong (flame grilled chicken... More

eaten here several times and the food is always good. A few of my favourites don't make the menu but what they do is great. and to get a table at this little gem so either be prepared to wait at night or book.

A cosy little café tucked away in Mitchelton, with "nice" food, but not traditional Vietnamese. We've eaten here a handful of times, but haven't been back since trying other Vietnamese restaurants in Brisbane. No stand out dishes at all.

We went to this restaurant when it opened and 8 years later are still going. The food is great, the service is great, and when Jimmy isn't too busy you can Avachat !! The cost is inexpensive for such fine tasting dishes and everything is hand made !! Awesome !!

There are not many Vietnamese options around here so this was a gamble for us. The place is tiny and we were lucky to get the last unreserved table at 6pm on Saturday night. the place could do with an update on interior but the food was great. The make your own Rolls were great and tasty. So was the... More

Pretty good Vietnamese among very limited Northside options. Can get a bit overwhelmed at night so give them plenty of time to get your order ready, but worth the wait.

Having travelled in Vietnam, it is great to have authentic food. The Pho is beautiful. This is a Vietnamese dining experience.
