Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Really quaint, different atmosphere. I took my two young daughters for a high tea. Staff were very attentive and we felt very 'looked after'. Beautiful food, the 'children's high tea' was well thought out giving them lots of options and worked well for us. I'd...definitely recommend this experience as it's a very well priced and different venue, food is lovely and not overly fussy for family tastes.More

Saw a sign for the cafe so decided to try it. We were welcomed by a charming young man who seated us & went through the menu. We decided on the afternoon tea ($55pp). Wow what a great feast…. Variety of sandwiches served with glass...champagne, followed by scones & cream then two different cakes served with tea. The service was outstanding, venue quirky yet amazing & food yummy…. Great value and the whole experience was unbelievably goodMore

We decided to go here for a birthday lunch having been there before. The male waiter told us he would have to clear a table and would be 10 minutes. Well after waiting for over 15 minutes nothing had been done. He then said it...would be 5 minutes again we waited and we then approached a lovely woman at the counter who helped us. We all got the impression that this arrogant male waiter was unimpressed with us going to the counter that he totally ignored us and proceeded to serve everyone else. The food is ok but very expensive for what you get. They ran out of the mini scones and it was only 1pm. If it wasn’t for the lovely female waitress we would have walked out and went to a restaurant that had better service and not get treated the way that we did by this rude waiter. I WILL NEVER EVER RETURN AND NEVER RECOMMEND THIS TO ANYONE. I really think the cafe needs to retrain this guy about how to treat paying customers otherwise they will lose customers.More

I don't believe I've ever been served by a more insincere and discourteous waiter. After being seated (we were neither brought nor offered any water) we had to wait 15 minutes before our order was taken ( this is a small coffee shop). About another...15 minutes later cakes were brought out and napkins were literally dropped from a height on to our laps. At 11.30am they could no longer offer a devonshire tea. The drinks came, my husband's order of a skim flat white was a cappuccino and an ice chocolate was a milk shake. We were not the only group disgruntled by the appalling service - groups around how had been partially served kept trying to catch the waiter's attention and many exasperated looks were witnessed. This is not my first visit here but it will be my last.More

We enjoyed a lovely plate of sandwiches and a lime tart and coffee roll along with tea for two. The food was very nice but the tea was sooooooo weak despite waiting for it to get stronger. Very expensive for what you get but the...ambience of the place is lovely. Service was a bit overwhelming.More

Firstly, it has a beautiful setting. However the cafe staff need to be more courteous. We ordered coffee and a sandwich after a long wait with our glass of water coming towards the end of the meal. We asked to share a sandwich (11am) at...$21.50. A side plate was plonked down on the table so we could both have a plate. The sandwich was lovely. We were told unceromoniously that we had to vacate the table at a certain time. We were happy to do so but it could have been said in a more diplomatic way. When we received the bill, it had a $3 charge for extras. When we queried it, we were told that was for the plate for sharing! There was no mention of this on the menu. We ended up not paying the extra $3 but we will not be back.More

We celebrated a birthday on 02/09/21 & our very first time inside Keri Craig Emporium & what a impressive High Tea presentation, a glass of champagne to start with & then the beautiful small slices of sandwiches / cakes etc, + hot drinks to follow....Friendly staff who certainly enjoyed their work & never felt rushed throughout our High Tea experience. Highly recommended & extremely good vale AUD $90.00 for the two of us. The Emporium is easy to locate through Brisbane Arcade.More

The good ...small simple healthy lunch ... salmon rosettes filled with crab which needed lemon juice to add flavour. The small salad was fresh and delicious. The bad .... No gluten free options for desert. Low gluten means it’s not gluten free. Food is either...gluten free or not for those who have a medical condition. No desert for me! The ugly .... black plastic straws are being used! What a shame!More

A beautiful little boutique with a quaint cafe. Plenty of unique items for sale and although it is also a small store we spent almost two hours here and picked up some very special momentos of our trip to Brisbane.

I visited Keri Craig for lunch with two friends. I have visited Keri Craig many times and have always found it a very friendly and great setting for lunch or any morning or afternoon tea. Today was so exception except when we were leaving. The...check out person was visibly annoyed that we paid individually. He provided a very ordinary ending to a great lunch. I can appreciate maybe for a large group the one bill per table may apply. But it was certainly an easy job for 3 people. Also I have not seen any note saying one bill per table.More
