Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Hey guys - I am a self confessed PHOaHollic and have traveled around Australia and Vietnam researching where to get the best bowl of pho. Every time a new review on Pho or Banh Mi Thit comes out around Brisbane I try to check that...restaurant out. Usually I am disappointed as they often fall well below the Kim Son standard. Save yourself wasting your money on taking long shots on new restaurants and just visit this shop for all your Pho needs. .More

It's a little bit out of the way as the restaurant is located in Inala, but we'd heard the food was really good. The place is fairly basic, but clean. The service is friendly and the food comes out of the kitchen really quickly. We...ordered the pork and prawn rice paper rolls, spring rolls and the pork chop with broken rice. All of it was fresh and delicious. I'd really recommend the place and I know we'll be going back.More

We tried a few different restaurants, and we wanted to try somewhere new (for us) Based in reviews, we went to Kim Son, and they didn’t disappoint us! Pho had more cinnamon-y taste than other places we’ve eaten, and it was tasty! We were so...full! We’ll be back againMore

We have eaten food from here several times, both dine in, and take away. and are never disappointed. We usually have a varied selection of Pho. Todays section was Pho Bo, Bun Bo Hue, and the salt and pepper calamari. My wife said it was...possibly the best she had ever had. That's a big call as we have been travelling at least once a year to Vietnam for the last 10 years. Highly recommended.More

What can I say? The food is good, the portions are big and the prices reasonable. I had the beef and brisket noodles and it was just great. The spring rolls... well unless you're into huge spring rolls with lots of vermicelli and veg, you...can take a pass on it.More

Only $21 for both! Delicious and big servings, traditional Vietnamese. Simple restaurant and not so tidy but the food makes up for it. Not an atmospheric restaurant but that's not what they are like in the communities.

Arguably one of the best pho in Brisbane. You know you are onto a good thing when the place is full of Vietnamese. Iced coffee and hot tea are also worth the trouble. These guys offer consistently good food.

We were most impressed by our recent visit to the Kim Son Vietnamese Restaurant in Inala, first impressions on arrival was how quiet all the guests were, many talking but at a pleasant volume, a happy and friendly atmosphere. Staff greeted us with a huge...smile and we were promptly taken to our table. We ordered a bowl of Pho and a bowl of beef stew soup between the two of us, the bowls of soup were enormous, very hot, tasty and plenty of fresh ingredients. On the table is a tray of condiments and chopped chilli for that extra flavour if needed. The restaurant serves great value meals, friendly and prompt service in a casual setting, we can't wait to return to try something else on the menu.More

I frequent Kim Son for the fairly great variety of authentic Vietnamese food not usually found in Darra or Inala. Of late there was a price increase but not exorbitant. We were disappointed that the popular dish with crab ran out when we ordered for...a late lunch. Service is good and you do not have to wait long before the food arrived. This is in spite of a fairly crowded cafe. I just hope Kim Son continues to maintain its tasty Vietnamese food to meet the increasing number of customers.More

First time I went to Kim Son restaurant, I was overwhelmed by the menu. There are so many choices for my hungry belly & eyes. I would suggest all the soup dishes but steer clear of the congee. Pork chop with rice here is really...good & the serving is huge. And I mean huge. I had to share some with my friend. Definitely recommend this place & will definitely come back.More
