Their kimchi salmon soup is delicious and only available at dinner. It arrives ready to cook on your table. Likely the best thing I've had at this restaurant where food is ordered on touchscreens at your table. Reservations recommended.

My partner and I recently visited Wagaya as we imagined that it would be of better quality than what we found it to be. Essentially, it appears to be a fast-food Japanese restaurant. The novelty is that you get to sit in cubicles/booths which have...More

Great variety of food ranging from grilled items to ramen. Their tan-tan ramen is one of the best available in Brisbane. The experience of ordering your food independently through a touch-screen device will surprise some customers. Good news is that the restaurant is clean and...More

The most disappointing thing was they run a different menu at night than they do at lunch. Whilst it was nice to have sashimi and sushi, I wanted the grilled menu. When I asked I got a small menu compared to one one on the...More

Excellent food and draught Japanese beer. Particularly enjoyed the sashimi and gyoza. Only let down - the full menu on the website was not available.

Really wishing I could give this place a better review. We have both eaten here before and has had some really fresh dishes. Perhaps today wasn't their day as the fish still had skin and sinew left on it and was flavourless. The crispy skin...More

Went there with my girlfriend for a quiet dinner while incredibly hung over. The atmosphere was really nice and calm/quiet. Everyone gets their own little private booth. You don't need to actually talk to anyone there, you do all your ordering through the touch screen...More

Dropped in after work on a Friday night. Had a cute little booth and service was excellent. Ordered ramen and gyoza. Ramen was pretty good - broth was a good consistently not too oily but you can definitely taste the chicken in the broth. Nevertheless...More

Great presentation of food ordered via touch screen with pictures that look very much like the real thing. Had the seared salmon and scallops, agedashi tofu, salmon sashimi, assorted sushi plate and a beef meal. The salmon & scallops was delicious - the others just...More

Meal out with friends and family, as they had been before and said it's good. Never had sushi before so thought what the hell. A selection of dishes all good bar one. The Miso eggplant...burnt, tough skin, and so much oil that I thought that...More

Hi, a little late but I must correct the above reply. Firstly, there are 4 private rooms. Secondly, there is a room hire charge of $20, which must be paid by card upon booking and is non-refundable. Thirdly, there is no DVD... More

This is a newly opened restaurant. Last night was our first time at Wagaya, and we loved it. Good food, reasonable prices, and fun using a touch screen to order everything. Food and drink arrived within minutes of ordering. You order and eat at your own pace. Lots of options too if you don't like Japanese food. It is rated 92% on Urbanspoon
