This isn't really a child friendly restaurant no specific selection for kids meals . You have to guess how the meals will come and they may or may not like it. This is potentially so people don't bring children & when asking if they do...a simple tuna sushi for kids I was advised yes and I then said with mayo and they responded no. So ok that would be OK but big chunks of raw sashimi tuna arrived which my kids won't touch. $11 for 1 ltr of mineral water if I new tap water was free pretty sure I would have gone for that . The mains were lovely however pork belly 39 for what was recieved .. very over priced . I felt the menu was ok but not overly exciting and doesn't have me wanting to go back to try again . Service though outstanding lovely ladies front of house 10/10. 2 kids 2 adults $250 for this spend it was sadly a let down.More

We ordered the Banquet for 2 people and were not disappointed. The food kept coming and was so delicious. I would recommend ordering the chef’s banquet if you can, as we were able to taste food that we wouldn’t normally order from the menu.

Unless you have money to spend for wine per glass then go for it, we went in there to have a couple drinks before heading for our booking at Georges Paragon Seafood restaurant. Just order house reds, 4 glasses later got stung for $133, yep...for the same bottle at Dan Murphys you can get it for +- $28, they are charging $33 /34 a glass, went acoross the road to Pig And Whistle and house reds including Pubs/restaurants anything from $7 to $15 for a glass so be preparedMore

Magnificent food and service. Went for our wedding anniversary and had a lovely table at the window. Had the banquet and every course was superb. Imaginative and superbly presented. Wagyu beef was to die for. Desert was equisite! The service was excellent i was concerned...it might all feel a bit rushed for to the hot and a half blocks for bookings but this was absolutely not a problem. Worth the money.More

I do not know why it has taken me so long to write a review for Sake... this is one of my favourite restaurants in Brisbane and I am never disappointed. Last night for the Autumn dinner was just the most recent in one of...many visits and it was fab! Sake is amazing at putting together these dinner events, pairing together the perfect tipple with delicious morsels from their chefs across the country. Each of the 7 courses was unique, delicious and more than satisfying with portions. There were 5 sake's and 2 wines paired with these meals that were generous and perfectly complimented the meals. The value for money for this meal, and for all the special event dinners is really great - where else can you get 7 courses and drinks for $129! We have attended other wine and sake dinners at Sake and always walk away full and happy... but, is not just the only thing they do well... the a la carte and the Rose Sundays are also amazeballs! To pick a favourite dish would be impossible but we have really come to love anything with the tooth fish... glorious! The shrimp, oysters, sashimi... and last nights panko lamb... oh emm gee! Food aside, the service and staff at Sake are also consistently amazing... listening to the head chef talk about the food absolutely delights me and you can really tell these staff are proud of what they create and serve. The sake sommelier was genuinely excited about the sake and that enthusiasm was contagious, she was extremely knowledgeable and friendly and I was super pumped to try every drop. Highly recommend Sake for any occasion!More
