The view from the balcony is excellent, looking down the Brisbane River towards the Storey Bridge. It is easy lose a number of hours with friends on a sunny day watching the river traffic and enjoying a cold beer and meal. Plenty of beer to choose from and everyone at our table enjoyed their selection. The food menu offers a... More

Went out with some friends the other day and ended up at the Bavarian Bier Cafe. Even though they were super busy service was quick and helpful I ordered the pork belly and was not disappointed. However the highlight of the evening was the beer on tap, wide selection of German beer and then a round of schnapps to finish!!!... More

Love the beer here and I remember I was disappointed with the food last time, but thought I'd give it another go. It wasn't any better. A dry tasteless schnitzel and a scoop of mash for $21. Great food, great bier, great service and a great view. Everything that you could possibly want for date night. My fiance had the tasting platter, a little bit of everything; sausages, pork, schnitzel. I had the pork belly, it was delicious. We finished it off sharing a cheesecake. We will definitely be back

I visited Bavarian bier cafe last week. I was so satisfied. I was very suprised of size of meal and suitable prize. I can recommend a pork knuckle and a cracling pork belly. If you like sweet, you should order a cheesecake. It was so delicious. I have to give Bavarian 5 stars.

We decided to enjoy our evening as a family eating at Bavarian Bier Cafe. The staff are friendly and the food is delicious -- especially the pork knuckle. Large portions, great service, and gorgeous location.

My partner and I went to Bavarian last minute after walking around eagle street pier looking for a place to eat last tuesday evening.
