Visited here with a varied group (some particularly fussy eaters and some.. very expressive young children. Staff could not have handled us with any more manners! Bringing the children’s meals out first in order to keep the peace, adhering to every one of our tables...requests, lots of smiles in general! The food was amazing, not one complaint from the whole table and reasonably priced.More

Chose this one to try as the menu looked quite nice and fresh. Don't think it was that busy but really did seem a long wait for an omelette. Food was good

Meals overpriced for what they were. Poor service. Cold - blankets supplied but heating would have been preferable.

The chef certainly knows how to cook a wood-fired pizza with a thin crunchy crust and generous toppings. The burgers and chips are nicely presented and will satisfy anyone’s hunger. Pleasant staff, good service and the most delightful outlook. Great for a relaxed lunch over...a glass of wine.More

Just had lunch here and the food was pretty good. I had the gnocchi and hubby had the parmi. Menu is quite large. My iced coffee was a little too strong and bitter and could've done with a bit of sweetener before it came out....Service was a little too attentive and we were asked 3 times by 3 different people within 5-10 minutes if we were ready to order and it made me feel like they just wanted quick service and quick out for turnover of tables.More

Been here a number of time now for a casual lunch. Menu is really large so great for a group as there is something for everyone. Food is generally good and quick to come out. Worth a visit if you're along the river looking for...a more casual lunch or dinner.More

Am a frequent visitor to Groove Train and have never been disappointed. The lunch / dinner is very large and suits a variety of people, including vegetarians and those with food allergies. The prices are very reasonable and if you sign up to their loyalty...program is even cheaper again. Service is very good and the meals come out quickly. Haven’t been for breakfast but the menu looks great.More

My husband and I stopped in here for lunch mid-week and while the food didn't blow me away, it wasn't bad either. The City Cat stop kinda ruins the view of the river, but it's still nice to look out on to the water. Staff...were friendly and service for us was quick - we were in and out in under 40mins which for a work day, was helpful. I chose the gnocchi with pumpkin and spinach. It was fine - the gnocchi wasn't too bad, a few pieces were rather charred but it wasn't overly chewy as gnocchi can be. The creamy sauce was quite rich but had really nice flavours. My husband chose the tandoori chicken pizza which he claimed was just ok. Not a bad spot for lunch but do expect to pay a decent price for your meal. I'm glad it was on the Entertainment Card.More
