The boss led the way to this subterranean laneway bar, we had been out for a wee womble that morning and we needed to refuel. Were the first customers of the day, and guess we were after some brunch as hadn’t had any brekkie. Not...a huge choice on the menu, pick from 5 burgers and a range of sides, but a halloumi and chicken burger with slaw and fries were ordered, along with a Chardonnay and a crazy 7.8% ale with citrus and tropical notes. Both burgers were excellent, maybe the best chicken burger I’ve ever had, and we both left clean plates. They do a brunch deal from 11-3, which I plan to investigate further. Will definitely return.More

Great service, settings and environments. Cracking range of craft beers, including a few from out of state. Can't wait to go back there again.!

Was looking for a quick bite to eat last night, so jumped on TA. The reviews on Miss Demeanor were excellent, so I tracked it down. It’s tucked down Rowes’s Lane, just opposite DJ’s. Happy hour was 5-6, so I missed that, but had a...Stone & Wood $9 and some good food. I ordered the Brisket Burger $15 and didn’t feel like chips, so added the Crispy Greens $11. Both were good, the greens were a bit heavy on the sprouts, light on the broccolini, but were tasty.More

Popped in on a very quiet Saturday afternoon. Lovely cool atmospheric bar and restaurant. We had a cocktail off the list and then asked the barman to make us his favourite and it was delicious! A couple more cocktails later and look forward to another...visit. A hidden gem.More

It's hard to get chilled in Brisbane at lunch time. This place does it. Around a corner, down a lane, and you're a world away from work. Very chilled, welcoming vibe, friendly staff and a great atmosphere. The guy behind the bar backed me in...to finish the plate of Nachos and beans, but he would have lost if he had put money on it, because the serving was huge, delicious, but enormous. Private, atmospheric, friendly vibe, and central- the great food just tops it off. I'll be back. They did have a bit of bad luck though- opening in September last year and then having to close for 3 months from March- but hey, it's hard to keep a place like this down. Hidden gem.More

It is a great bar that we often go to for after-work drinks. The staff are attentive, and serve you very quickly. There is a good selection of drinks and bar snacks. Drinks are reasonably priced. Cute & modern decor.

Found this little gem, hidden just off Edward street down Rowes lane. As soon as I walked in i felt welcomed, the staff greeted me and took us over to one off the booths, we got the grand one in the corner! The venue is...just beautiful! Original sand stone walls, leather booths, fantastic looking bar with a huge range of spirits and beers and a stage for live music and dj's! Our plan was only to pop down for a "quick" drink but ended up staying there for 3 hours! The highlights were the Cherry coke old fashioned, The Currumbin Valley Grape Bubble Gum Sour and a glass of Latte Viognier wine. The food was delicious too! We had the brisket burger, loaded fries and the crisp cauliflower wings. If you haven't been, trust me....It's worth the visit!More

My hubby and I were thrilled to find good American style brekkie in Brisbane. I had a very yummy egg scramble with Avocado, toast and hash browns and he had a large breakfast plate. The service was lovely and quick (we were in a rush...to head to the airport and they were accommodating).More

Enjoyed the $5 happy hour specials for house sparkling and beer, before devouring a delicious meal. We shared the pork belly, potato skins, cauliflower and the feta and capsicum salad. Wonderful service. Yummy cocktails. Very reasonably priced. Well worth a visit. (Oh and definitely try...the beignets with the white chocolate and macadamia sauce!!)More
