The food is the star of the show here although a nice atmosphere is created by Afgan music and handicraft table cloths. We can recommend the Bukani starter (like a filled pancake), the lamb Karahi and the Afgan salad which were all delicious. All finished off with a selection of ethnic desets made with patry, nuts and seminolina.

The rugs and handicraft decor create a nice first impression on entry. The music is different and interesting without being intrusive or loud. The food is best approached as a banquet shared by people. Portions are medium-sized, leaving space for entree, salad and dessert too. Our bulani was a great start, crisp on the outside, with soft tasty filling. The... More

Good Greek food in a tiny and very simple decorated restaurant. Wouldn't come here for a romantic dinner for two or even a bigger event such as someone 's birthday though. If I would return here (don't live in Brisbane) it would only be for lunch or a quick bite to eat in early evening.

Seriously great food, a delightful surprise to find authentic Afghan cuisine in this inconspicuous corner in Milton. This restaurant deserves the support of every food lover. Will be going back again and again.

I had no idea what Afghani cuisine was all about until I first visited Chopan in Milton about 6 weeks ago - have now been back twice more. On our first visit, our charming hostess explained in detail how all the foods were prepared (fresh - from scratch - including spice blending etc), and went on to contrast Afghani cuisine... More

Had passed this place many times and it always looked empty so never bothered going in. After trying most of the other places in the area we decided to give it a go and we were pleasantly surprised. The food is fantastic. So good we've been going back again and again. If you like mediterranian or middle eastern food, you'll... More

Absolutely 100% ahhhhhmaaaaazinggggg!!! Have never had afghani food before tonight and I will definitely be back! Everything was delicious! We had 5 mains and two sides between 3 of us - was definitely not over priced and everything was scrumptious! Nothing could be faulted. The meat was deliciously flavoured and the egg plant Devine! Have had Turkish food before but... More

We were really excited about trying this restaurant after reading all the reviews. Didn't dine in, however walking in was horrific. It is currently a construction site, so we used the back entrance. Through the hallway they had a high chair covered in dust with a dustpan in it. Fluoro lights, dirty covers on the chairs, and unpleasant atmosphere. We... More
