Amazing venue, friendly and helpful wait staff - food was to die for! Would recommend this establishment for a night out!

Very disappointed having booked and paid in advance for Father's Day Buffet Lunch (2023). On arrival we were informed that the event had been cancelled due to lack of numbers. No apology was offered and as the main restaurant was fully booked we were given...a table outside next to the toilets. Food was not what we had expected. Brisket was terrible and my main meal was missing the green vegetables. Fortunately this time, it wasn't one of our usual family gatherings!More

We had a Peaky Blinders themed 50th Birthday Party in the Telegraph Room. It is a fantastic venue with private bar, own toilets, lift, balconies. The food and staff were amazing. Kym the function manager was really helpful with great ideas. I would highly recommend...for any function.More

The pork ribs were quite bland. Although tender they lacked flavour like they needed a seasoning rub. The wife's seafood chowder looked and tasted like tin tuna in soup. Only had some tiny prawns. The service was fine as were the kids meals. Quite noisy...inside.More

0rdered the silverside and mash.Couldnt have been tougher.Also the beef pie was all pastry and little meat.The service of the meals took forever.Only 2 meals came out first and the other 2 came half an hour later so we all had to eat at separate...times.Very strange being the fact that it was a wednesday night and a very small amount of patrons in the restaurant,We are locals and now not keen at all to return for a meal.More

We recently lunched here and were very happy with our experience. The wait staff were very efficient and polite and the menu had a good selection. Our entree of crab and prawn cakes was really fresh and served with a light dipping sauce. The fish...of the day was barramundi which was cooked perfectly and presented with a selection of seasonal vegetables. The lamb was delicious served with mint sauce and plenty of vegetables. Our coffees were of a high standard. Overall it was a very enjoyable lunch. We will be back!More

Hosted a VIP corporate events at Sandgate post office hotel. Our events contact was alwasy available and very prompt to get back to us. 46 ladies from the North Lakes Community Women's Group celebrated Christmas in July in the Telegraph Room of the Hotel. The communication leading up to the event was excellent and nothing was too much trouble. On the day the room was set up beautifully and...the room itself was pristine and welcoming. And as for the food...so generous and absolutely delicious. The staff are friendly and took such good care of us. A special thank you to Kym and we would love to return soon.More
