Interesting modern layout. Very clean lines. Good location. Staff relaxed but attentive. Food very tasty. Mains could have been slightly larger. Menu needs a little more choice. Gladly go again.

On a weekend visit to Brisbane, I came here twice for breakfast. On both occasions they were delicious. The first time I had the keto breakfast which was amazing and then the smashed avo. Healthy and tasty - jut perfect for a breakfast out.

Food was good and tasty but service very slow when we entered and took awhile to arrive. Given wrong dish but happy to change to correct one

Just dinner and a drink whilst here for work. Nice menu choices and reasonable prices. Would have had desert but no one came to serve me.

Nice surroundings, quaint but still big enough to cater for larger groups. Food and bar options are good, meals a little small for price but excellent quality. Visited for a conference so experienced lunch (buffet syle) and dinner (menu) options. Lunch was more value for...money, but part of a conference so set menu options.More

Had lunch here with friends in a lovely shady courtyard. Our waitress was lovely and friendly, the food was super-tasty and they were happy to split the bill.

We eat here as our room wasn't quite ready. The food was OK but service was a bit iffy. Had to really try and get the bill at the end. Only eat here the once.

I conducted an interview at the Johnson. We consumed four flat whites. I paid when we left but that night my account showed two charges. I called and my query was answered by email by the restaurant manager with a photo of two receipts. One...for 4 flat whites at $16 - which i had the receipt in my purse for. One for another mysterious 4 flat whites at $17... No sorry we accidentally double charged you. They did not call.me to rectify the mistake. I (the customer) had to call them. On discussion i clearly explained who had served us and how many coffees (clearly impossible for us to have consumed 4 flat whites each and the waitress would have known that if they had bothered to check) it was clearly a double charge i pointed out... only to be met with a response of "that's impossible... there's no way our machine would do that.." AGAIN i explained the facts. And said you can check with the waitress.. only to be met with the same response.... finally and only after i had use the phrase "well i know that's not right and it would be in your best interests to refund the second mistaken charge" to which the so called manager relented and said well youll have to come in. No sorry for the inconvenience yes you're right. .. please come and see so and so she will sort it out... MY GOSH! This was my first experience there... they've lost another customer. What has the restaurant industry come to here. Honestly. Overcharging for tasteless food and telling customers theyre wrong. No wonder there's such a high turnover and shops for lease are as common as mud.More

We had breakfast here while staying at the Art Series Johnson hotel. Great menu and the staff are friendly and professional. We had the veggie stack, French toast and the kids had sausage & eggs and a ham and cheese toast or pocket. All the...meals were lovely as was the coffee.More
