We visited here for my husband's birthday. we chose to have a la carte rather than join in on the teppanyaki tables. We prefer traditional Japanese. We booked our table for 6.00pm and arrived on time and we were given our table. There are two...teppanyaki tables that probably hold about 30 people each and they had a lot of fun but we were more than happy with our choice, we chose 7 dishes and every one of them was excellent. We will probably return here before we leave Darwin.More

We ate here twice, their meals were very tasty and service was impeccable. We didn't do the Chef's special (which by the way was very entertaining to watch), we went 'a la carte.' I would recommend if staying up in the Parap area.

This is a hidden gem, away from the city. We have walked past in the day many times but not ventured further, until one day I overheard a friend talking about a dining experience with a difference! We booked for my husband’s birthday, never great...at gift buying I thought it best I give him a ‘culinary experience’ he would not forget. We were not disappointed. From the outset it is clear these guys know the importance of customer service and entertainment. I spoke to them in advance to explain the birthday celebration. It is a blast from the start. The laughter began at the door and didn’t stop until the end of the evening. This is delicious mouth-watering Japanese food served with a twist, I just hope you can catch! We have never experienced a teppanyaki restaurant before and the entertainment from the chefs while they cook is superb. The chefs and the owner are not only brilliant at cooking but can multi task, and are hilarious. The banter does not stop throughout the meal. The chef’s cheeky style is infectious, and he leaves no one out. His culinary skill should not be underestimated either, the steak we chose was so tender it melted in our mouths and so tasty….and plenty of it. The prawns were huge and so meaty, the sushi so fresh and the fish so beautifully cooked. This is not for those that like a quiet dining experience, this is a place for you if you like to have an experience as well as a meal. Food is thrown, karaoke Is sung, and laughter is loud.More

WOW! We (3 people) arrived around 9:45 on a Tuesday night hoping we weren’t too late to get a meal. The sign on the door said closed but there were a few people inside and the owner waved us inside. There was a bit of...a party happening and if we didn’t mind then they were happy to serve us. So glad we did. The food was AMAZING we ordered tuna nigiri, salmon sashimi, agadashi tofu, mixed tempura, prawn gyoza and edamame. Everything was delicious particularly the sushi. The staff were so very friendly and accommodating. Really lovely food, fantastic friendly service - do yourself a favour and try it out!!More

OMG this is the best place for great food, everything we tried was amazing. Staff are super friendly and can't do enough to help. Chef was fantastic and so much fun to watch and he played with everyone. Once dinner was over they started karaoke...and the laughs and good times just keep coming. Do yourself a favour and go and experience this place for yourself.More

Maybe we came here with higher expectations after being recommended to try this place, but the whole experience was disappointing. Our food order was completely wrong when it arrived the first time (not sure if they got confused with another table but they still put...it all down on the table, then took it all away and was then served to another table) you know, it happens but it was dealt with really poorly. When our correct food arrived after much delay it really wasn't worth the wait or money spent, overcooked, oily and tasteless. I felt for the waitress honestly because she looked super embarrassed and I feel maybe a supervisor or manager should have come out to the table after we complained? No apologies or anything even on our way out. The place didn't look too clean, toilets are awful and they were out of stock of a few (lots of) things (again it happens, but make the customer aware at the beginning so we dont try and order them) drinks also took forever to arrive even though it didn't appear to busy In short, we will never return or reccomend to anybodyMore

The food was great, though because a couple of larger groups at the Teppanyaki tables were celebrating, the atmosphere was a bit loud. We will definitely be back for another visit

We were disappointed with our experience. We were sat at a teppanyaki table despite booking a la carte. Service was pretty ordinary and the ambience, food quality and cleanliness did not meet expectations. 2 dishes we ordered were not available which was disappointing. The mixed...tempura was very poor quality. Prawns coated in heavy batter and cooked in dirty oil. We left most of the dish as it wasn’t pleasant to eat. The beef sukiyaki was the saviour. It was delicious and a very generous serve. The restaurant seems to thrive on the teppanyaki experience which might be fun for some but didn’t appeal to us. It does not seem good value or an authentic quality experience compared to other Japanese teppanyaki restaurants we have dined at. Disappointing.More
