Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We went here as a group of couples and were seated and the lower terrace. There was a good selection on the menu and all entries, mains and desserts were excellent.

I’d initially rated Pee Wees highly. We’d come here as a group and later we returned as a couple. On the latter experience the service was good but not amazing The food was nice but not extraordinary which you’d expect with the price point. $65...for a steak is very steep and comparatively not better than you could get elsewhere in Darwin. At Pepper-berry a similar steak meal is $38, WharfOne - $50. The location is great.More

Food is delicious, service is not great. All of the wait staff walked past us repeatedly as we tried to grab their attention, plates sat finished for long periods, we refilled our own wine glasses all night. When you pay for service you expect quality,...while the food was nice the service was below par.More

Tonight’s dinner was at PEEWEES ON THE POINT @peewees_at_the_point ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Delicious meals and such a beautiful setting. I didn’t give it 5 stars because the waiters weren’t really friendly, and you’d think they would be, as it’s a high level restaurant. I had Oyster and...beef Takaki, and Bazz had the Ginger and Lemongrass snapper. These were gorgeously presented, and tasted incredible. The atmosphere was beautiful ♥️More

This restaurant is a little bit out of the way but oh, so worth it. One of those restaurants that when you enter the décor is simple and earthy so your expectations aren't high. We were one of the first there for dinner, five well...travelled business people. The menu is extensive and accommodating for all tastes with local flavours incorporated into the dishes. We all had different entrée and mains and could not fault any dish. They were all superb. The service was just as excellent as the food and exceptionally accommodating to our needs. The restaurant we were told is renown for it's sunsets, we had rain but could envision just how beautiful the sunsets could be. I would definitely go back.More

So disappointing, for Al a carte it was like going to a wedding function with pre prepared buffet food. No seasoning, was great in the past definitely would take some major changes to get me back. Sad as it’s a cracking location

Dining Spot is beautiful outside on the edge. The view over the bay is spectacular, definitely worth dining outside. Food is nice. Cobb bread is delicious, chips are good, mains are ok. I ordered the fresh prawn salad that had 4 prawns and deep fried...everything else except the lettuce, disappointing. Service is great, very attentive, friendly and helpful staff. We were not rushed to leave , but we did order our food slowly as last time everything arrived altogether. We do love going there but I feel it's a little pricey for what you get. Good selection of winesMore

The service was exceptional. location is great. Unfortunately after that it falls away. The food doesn’t meet to cost. I had a chilled Prawn salad as a main. Salad - what salad, it would not fit in your hand, six prawns $56. The saltbush crumb...veal $58 - no value or good flavour. We are locals and do support local restaurants. But the quality has dropped dramatically. Again the service is exceptional.More

Originally booked as was told amazing sunset locations. Well depends on time of year. Not in October. Once I got over this the rest was incredible. Great service, delicious food, started in lounge with lycee martini, chicken liver pate, crispy prawn and vegetable fritters, Balinese...beef skewers, traditional white cob. Then move to outer area for dinner started with Cowell oysters omg, crumbed veal rib on the bone and double roasted duckling, with a rocket salad and birthday macaroons to finish. Along with a beautiful bottle of Chardonnay 👌🙏😋More

I came here many many years ago and the location does not disappoint. Very lovely way to see Darwin at sunset. Clever menu but the mains all seemed very heavy for such hot weather so we stuck to entrees. I had the crocodile on betel...leaf which was the winner and the prawn salad which had lovely prawns but had massive prawn crackers and no dressing so was a slog to get through. Mate had scallops which she loved and pork which was tiny and disappointing. Dessert was chocolate mousse cake and the memorable banana tarte tatin. Lovely night but missed something.More

No real dress code, I guess what you would wear to any restaurant. Not beachwear. Some wearing jeans/nice top or shirt, others more dresses up.
