Went there 3 times for lunch. The food is that good.
Price is on the cheaper end of the other food options I will be reviewing which gets it an extra tick.
Tried their sticky rice (twice), steamed dumplings & fried dumplings; steamed pork and red bean buns - all good and that is why I went 3 times all up in 11 days.
Being Asian, I am very fussy about this type of food and can truly recommend it if you like yum cha choices for lunch at a very decent price

Was taken to Nonna's by colleagues who hadn't tried the dumplings yet as they had only recently opened. I have to say that they were delicious, tasty and fast service.
Prices are very reasonable and as they say on the menu, everything is available until they sell out! ;)
Well worth a visit.

Why you should go Nonna’s Dumplings:
My partner and I have been going back ever since they opened because of their delicious selection of dumplings and dishes. First you are greeted with a team of friendly staff, the food has always come out quickly therefore if your in a rush but want great food I suggest here. My partner and I have ordered the braised beef rice dish, steamed prawn dumplings, fried pork and chive dumplings and steamed pork dumplings. Every dish is full of flavour, served at a perfect temperature and fills you up perfectly (depends on how much you usually eat). The proportions are good, you get five prawn steamed dumplings which are very full and big in my opinion. Before your food is served you are given a complimentary cold tea, very delicious! Goes perfectly with dumplings. Highly recommended going here because my partner and I always leave very very happy.

So happy we walked past this place and came back to go in. Managed to get the last of the prawn dumplings, xiao long bao (pork and beef) and crispy fried dumplings (pork). Each dish was freshly cooked, at a reasonable price, and was delivered quickly and in a reasonable time. Highly recommended for the price. It’s a nice cozy environment to take one or two people, or you can order over the phone for takeaway.

The service was great and friendly. The came over with all the dipping sauces, plates and utensils. Offered some lovely cold tea. We had combination dumplings and found the pork ones to be our favorite. The fried pork buns were so delicious. The juicy dumplings which look like xiaolongbao soup dumplings were good but most were kind of dry and not soupy/juicy...maybe 2 were so I think in the steam process the juice had come out. I'll try again next time and hopefully theyll be juicy. Staff was nice to keep coming back to offer cold tea.
Will definately be back!

I went with my 4 yr old son.
We had the prawn dumplings, which were just a slight variation of har gow, but tasted as good.
The steamed pork bun was a large char sui bao as big as the palm of your hand, but was actually packed with filling. Worth the $3.90!
The fried pork dumplings were pretty good, flavour was great, but a bit heavy.
Can't wait to go back to try their xiao long bao.
And the prices are very reasonable - how very un-Darwin!
As for the place itself, it's always a good sign when there are Chinese in a Chinese restaurant, which there was. Clean and professional. Looked like they had plenty of take away business going too.
Was a small shop, only space for about 20 people though.
My son and I also enjoyed the complimentary iced tea.

I passed this little restaurant the first day I arrived in Darwin but it was closed. They open 1030am to 6pm daily. It is very busy so you take your chance for a table! I have always managed to get a table but you can get take out! Dumplings are good!!
Reasonably priced. There service is good, the food is great and you come away satisfied! There's no table numbers but the staff know who has ordered what and the correct dishes appear on your table. Recommend this place if you like dumplings. There is other choices - sticky rice bundle, steamed pork buns, braised pork n rice, house soup, fried or steamed dumplings.

Excellent! Love the hot soup dumplings - Xiao long bao I think they were called. First ones on list. Superb.
Quick service and very good.
Dumplings fresh delicious and sauces were very tasty.

Delicious and authentic flavours I always enjoy no matter what the weather or time of day. They prepare all their food fresh with speedy service. The only downside being they are usually out of food by late afternoon. This spot is definitely one worth rolling out of bed early for!

We tried Nonna Dumplings for the first time today and they are amazing. Staff polite and store clean. Dumplings are fresh and delicious.
The prawn steamed dumplings even have a real prawn inside them.
We will definitely eat from here again!

The sign said "juicy steamed dumplings" and they didnt exaggerate. The steamed braised pork bun has now replaced even the best Aussie meat pie in my own goto menu of fast food. Braised pork and rice was very tasty and the steamed dumplings were, in fact, juicy (delicious).

I picked up some dumpling for the family lunch and wow, this place was popular. People lining up to get tables and waiting until new batches of dumpling appeared. We simply took what was already on offer and gobbled them down with glee. I suspect they sell out every dat that they are open. And great value too.

Loved the fresh made steamed pork dumplings and the savory sticky rice was divine! Also tried the pork soup dumplings - service was great. A very busy little restaurant in Darwin, highly recommend.

Best dumplings ever ! Very popular -pork and chive fried dumplings 10/10. Never managed to jag the prawn dumplings -sold out daily so assuming they must be superb. Soup pork dumplings also highly recommended.
Would eat there every day if I lived here !

Came here twice for delicious dumplings! Service was friendly and quick. We had the fried pork and fried prawn dumplings. I have never had prawn dumplings so tasty with so much prawn flavour.
So delicious! They also served us cool mountain tea which was lovely.
