Daily specials, tasty food, had camel and beef burger, and quite content, what very content, good food, good portions. Locals and tourists since central. Sport coverage on tv screens if your interested. Only minor point for loners, you have to go to the motel recection to get a code, but other free wifi connecting points are available. Thanks guys. Btw no pictures needed just get your...here.

Over 40mins of music blaring and changing song every 30 seconds. I had a headache before my meal arrived. No way was i considering additional drinks or dessert. Watched and listened to others yell their conversations across tables..
Parmy was pretty good. More cheese for the win. Served with (unordered) gravy on the side, but salad was DROWNED in dressing- inedible. Shame, as i was looking forward to some veg.
Service from the bar was good, and meal ready in good time (was tue special, so prob had a constant line of them ready to go)
Lots of tables set up for 6 or 8 people, taken up by singles or couples. Might need to re-evaluate the midweek crowd.

Atmosphere is welcoming and cordial. Menu is extensive, reasonably priced and well prepared. Excellent selection of wine, tap beers and tap cider. Service is not fast food but is acceptably prompt. Air conditioned and no flies inside. If you have been to Alice Springs in the Australian summer then you know that escaping the heat and the little back flies are very high priorities. The staff were very cordial. We competed in their trivia contest and they named our team “The Yanks”. This is a place that is patronized mostly by locals (It was a local who recommended it) but they are happy to have out of towners drop by. A great place to meet local people and get a feel for life in Alice Springs.

After reading reviews on this place we decided to go for some dinner and drinks.
This is a fairly large pub with a mixed clientele. Drinks were reasonable, as was the food. The plates are again big- I had the burger which came with potato waffles and my husband had the steak sandwich. Quality was good but too much for us to eat.
The staff did their jobs but a wee smile would not go amiss.

Found this little gem as we wanted something nice but cheaper since we are travelling around.
For a kids pasta, pizza, main (roast) that included dessert, 2 x wines, one pre mix and one soft drink it was under $70.
All the meals were really tasty as was the sticky date pudding for dessert.
This pub has daily specials as advertised on there website. We dropped in on a Sunday.

Ordered the Sunday burger special and a lovely cold beer having just got off the plane in the red desert heat. No expectations and for $5.50 and the burger was surprisingly nice I had the veg and my husband had the beef. We ordered chips for an extra $2 but the burger was enough on its own. Not much open in Alice on a Sunday but you will get a decent feed here.

Ate here a couple of times during a recent stay in Alice. Mainly stuck to the schnitzels and found couldn't really go wrong. Big meals at reasonable prices. My favourite was the Mexican. My partner also tried the Sunday roast special (pork) - $18 including dessert. Was good but decidedly smaller than most of the other meals. The pub has an excellent range of beers available; the wine list is a bit more limited. But then I don't think AS is renowned as a wine-drinking town. Uncles is attached to the Diplomat Motel.

Good for a drink but not for food. We ordered the Hawaiin chicken snitty and the pineapple was off. Also ordered the chicken wings and they appeared off as well, did not eat these. The pizza special was on so we ordered that ans there were barely any toppings. At least the beer was cold.

While visiting the Todd Mall shopping area, we chose to eat lunch at this pub. The prices were good (especially the $14 lunch specials). I had the “pie of the day” which was a beef and cheese pie with mashed potatoes and peas. The sides and the pie were all excellent. My wife had the fish and chips which were good, but the fish was very fishy so was not as anticipated. There was a nice selection of beers on tap which also seemed to be reasonably priced.

Booked for 6.30 dinner and found it busy and noisy. On ordering they had no schnitzels or Thai salad or Caesar salad left. Husband ordered steak and it came out cold. Returned to be told by the waitress we can’t help that. Will not recommend this place for dinner

Great Daily Specials that are so tasty. Happy to try them all. The Tuesday special of chicken schnitzel was so delicious, we had mushroom sauce, yum! Wednesday night pizza, we had the Uncles Meat Deluxe, pretty good.

Very yummy, I have tried the pork jerk 2-3 times and love it. Last month, the chef suggested the chicken jerk as they ran out of pork. And even the chicken jerk was quite yummy.

Looked on the website for gf options and it looked kinda ok enough to try it get there and double check to be sure nope nothing mentioned on the site was gf. Staff were friendly and helpful but while the gf base was yummy the Marguerite pizza lacked flavour and wasn't really great. Wouldn't really hurry back. Which is a shame

Nice pub setting but the service and menu for veg/vegan is very disappointing - if all no options. I asked if it was possible to have a pizza without the feta and it was a ‘no’. I then asked for onion rings and it was a ‘no’ as it had to be ordered with a mains. Had they told me the rules before hand, I would not have wasted my time standing in queues.

The pizza review looked promising, but apparently the reviewers don’t know what good pizza is. I ordered the margarita pizza which look ok from the outside but the dough was undercooked, very undercooked. I am sure the other food is ok but they should take pizza off their menu. From a scale from 1 to 10, I would rate it as a 2 and that’s being kind.
