Read the review so thought it was worth a try. I had read other reviews and was going to order the steamboat but at $50.00 thought this was overpriced. We ordered from the lunch menu, prawn omelette with fried rice and prawn chop suey. Our waiter was curt and unfriendly, and not at all welcoming. Our meals arrived, my prawn chop suey had an unusual smell and didn’t taste the way it usually does, but it was eaten and ok. We are both small eaters and struggle usually to finish a meal, but on this occasion we ate it all. Meal was ok, but I wouldn’t return.

Visiting Wagga Wagga we happened upon Saigon restaurant and thoroughly enjoyed our huge steaming bowls of chicken pho. Not mentioned on the extensive menu, we requested it and the chefs gladly made it for us. That additional service was very much appreciated on such a cold night outside. A large restaurant, tucked away from other eateries in this town, but glad we found it. Steamed dim sums were plump and delicious. Other plates coming from the open kitchen looked great. Definitely a restaurant to visit when in this town.

We were looking for a place to have dinner in Wagga. After driving around came across this tucked away from the main strip of shops. Walked in first to see whether a reservation was needed as we are a family of four. Was happy to notice the open kitchen where the Vietnamese chefs were cooking while some customers were dining and some waiting for their takeaways. Was immediately told that we can come in and I noticed a waitress quickly wiping a table and getting it ready for us while I got the rest of the family. The food arrived quickly and was tasty. Service was good and couldn’t fault it. Overall a good experience.A fried ice cream is a must!

On a road trip, a night In Wagga. Hard to find a restaurant opening a Monday. Though Saigon deco is prey basic, food is actually quite good, their fried rice is as I like a bit smoky flavour, tried their Basa, pork belly and caramel dish (1st time) it was quite good too. Staff were pleasant . Prices were above average for a basic deco restaurant, between $19-$26 for mains.

This restaurant serves both Chinese and Vietnamese cuisine. We only ate Vietnamese. The beef noodle soup is superb. It varied a little from what I am used to but I liked the change. Tonight we had steam boat. It was enormous. Way too much for my wife and I. It was lovely but we have both had better.

Good Vietnamese restaurant in Wagga. Menu is quite big (could have done with less choices to be honest) but the food came out quickly and was quite yummy. The fried ice cream was a nice conclusion to the dinner.

Stopped while passing through Wagga. Vietnamese is always a good choice for me. The Pho I had was OK, but not the best or even close to the best I've had. My ordered a dish she just couldn't eat really, it was completely ruined. Pity.

We get takeaway here often. Is it 5 star? Probably not but it is good honest food with nice people. Highly recommend Satay Seafood Combination and Singapore Noodles. They are my go to options. Don't forget the prawn chips.

Saigon is my favourite take away shop in Wagga. Amazing food - the beef pho is one of the best I’ve had. Wonderful service.

My wife and I both had beef dishes and found the meat to be quite tough. Nit what we would expect for the prices charged. Not going back.

Visited this restaurant on the recommendation of a relative and was pleasantly surprised with the quality and quantity of the meal Could not fault the meal, the service and cleanliness of the restaurant. The waitress was extremely helpful and courteous and would not accept a tip that we insisted that she take which we felt was warranted after the excellent service she provided Left with two takeaway containers of our meal that we could not finish due to the generous portions that were served to us Highly recommend this restaurant
