Beyond dreadful. Caesar salad was tasteless with very over cooked chicken schnitzel. Staff clueless. Very disappointing as space is quite nice.

This cafe is one with a conscience. All profits go towards fighting slavery in Australia and the rehabilitation of victims. The cafe coffee rescues child soldiers. All cafe produce is ethical, serving coffees, brekkie and brunch and we couldn’t think of a better place to...have a coffee to help the plight of othersMore
Nice space to hang out if you need to work on a table with your laptop but....leave the food. Ordered a sandwich, asked to have it warmed up , the guy took 20min to serve me something with a slice of cheese still solid that...a gas station would have been able to serve better. The worst was to see their bathroom.... a place like this should not be allowed to operate with a filthy and disgusting toilet. There were no paper towel and not toilette paper as well and it was so dirty.More
Visited this lovely place at lunch time, which was a bit quieter than usual because of school holidays. Beautiful light and airy space with a simple menu and friendly staff. My salad was just right, and great coffee. Plus knowing they support an important cause...is a bonus.More
My husband & I enjoyed a late lunch at this hidden gorgeous cafe! Him, being a bit picky, asked for a special sandwich which wasn’t on the menu and staff were super nice in accepting his order! And they delivered ... a delicious chicken sandwich...with the freshest ingredient. Such a cute space💕More
Only recently heard about this place so decided to check it out. It’s a nice set up and I like what the cafe stands for. Service was good even if meals were a bit slow coming out. Brekky board was quite tasty. Good coffee too.
This place is right near where I live. I'd completely forgotten about it until I walked past the sandwich board. It's a beautiful space and I like it that it's for a cause but...it was mostly empty (I should've taken this as a sign), the...menu was very limited and the one vegan thing, a banana bread with fruit salad, was off the menu. I was able to get avo on toast but was pretty bland. It has great potential, just not well executed. The staff were lovely. It's order-at-the-counter, which as a single person can make life hard (how do I get a table and not have my stuff stolen while I order) but I guess the lack of patrons came into it's own there.More
Called in for lunch . Euro waiter messed up the order , meals came 10 minutes apart with no drinks . Only 3 others in there who already had food , 2 in kitchen and Euro waiter taking orders . How does this happen ?...Place was dirty , food was average and service was appalling . Mr Euro will send this place broke very quickly . Food and drinks surely could arrive together and give the place a good clean !More
Staff not attentive enough, food seems to have just been thrown together, cooking of bacon and eggs seems to have been done through a sandwich press, to pay an extra $3 for the flattest crispiest 1 piece of bacon is not good! Cutlery doesn't even...cut through the toast, shame as the venue itself is a great space and a great cause, don't think the staff or the food represent this, no love involved so it seems. I don't think I'll be returning anytime soonMore
Had the ham and cheese meltie, and it's very good but rich. If you aren't super hungry try sharing with a friend. You can always get another one. :)
Not only did I get to enjoy a great coffee and banana loaf at the Freedom Hub, I got to support an amazing cause by doing it. Not to mention that the location and building themselves are beautifully laid out. A lovely quiet place to...enjoy your time.More
This cafe is light and airy, with great staff and excellent food. I come here for brunch regularly. It is so refreshing to have a cafe that cares about where their food and coffee have been sourced, and is helping rehabilitate people who have experienced...slavery in Australia. I have also been to the Freedom Hub at night when it was used as a venue - and what a venue! Perfect for functions and parties, and the catering was really well done.More
Came here for a business lunch. Excellent service, great friendly staff. Fantastic food. Would be an incredible venue for business events.
A pleasure to come here because everything is just right: service coffee and food... keep up the great work!
Delicious lunch- a creative and colourful roots salad- I can really recommend and a beautiful coffee served from friendly and helpful staff in a very inviting and warm atmosphere. If you have a private or business event- here you will be not disappointed but will...make you want to come back again. An open and bright cafe- venue where you can have a meeting, baby shower or celebration of any kind with a sophisticated standard. A very special place for a good cause. I will tell all my friends about it. Don't miss out.More
