There is no doubting the quality of the food at this establishment. The burgers were great, fries fresh and everyone commented positively on how great everything tasted. The location is superb and the seating set up is great for large groups and children. Where they let themselves down was on the little extras that cost little bit leave the customer feeling that they will definitely return. Debate over the quality of a milkshake and not being helpful about taxis is poor customer service. The young staff need to sharpen up on this.

The place looks like many I've visited with seating outside in a patio area then inside near the front counter and around the side to the back. From the location, I'd guess that it does a lot of tourist business but there were many locals there on this day. The menu offers burgers, pork or beef ribs, a variety of chicken sandwiches and sides like fries (chips). I had a cheeseburger. It was delicious. Their chips were perfectly cooked fries: crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside. They also offer an assortment of drinks, including beer. The food was really good, and so was the service.

One of the best burgers we had in Australia. The Wagu beef was cooked to a perfect medium rare as requested. The french fries were fantastic as well it was a large bowl serving so plenty to enjoy. The outside seating is very comfortable and has a glimpse of a Habour Bridge view.

Words fail me to describe how bad this place is. After waiting in a queue (all first, and probably last time visitors like me) we have our order at the counter. The already expensive burgers didn’t come with fries or any sides, all of which were extra. When they did come, they came to our table erratically meaning I had finished mine before my wife’s had arrived and then we ate our salad and fries separately. I spoke with a server who couldn’t have been less interested. Made no attempt to pacify me or apologise and simply shrugged his shoulders at my complaint. Toilets were dirty and food mediocre and over priced. Avoid this tourist trap when in Sydney!

My husband and I just finished dinner at Ribs & Burgers, The Rocks, and it was outstanding! The cheeseburgers and Greek salad were both tasty and since I'm a french fry lover I had to order them, as well. They were perfect....crisp on the outside and tender on the inside! We ordered too much food as we didn't realize the size of proportions. The kitchen staff was busy working the entire time we were there and they all still managed to smile like they actually like their job. The rest of the staff is awesome, too. I would highly recommend Ribs & Burgers!!

My husband and I had lunch here on the weekend. I had the chicken and mayo wrap and my husband ordered the Butchers Burger. My wrap was absolutely delicious and certainly large and filling enough for a lunch time meal. My husband said his burger was also very enjoyable. We sat outside and the atmosphere was nice and relaxed sitting in the middle of the Rocks in Sydney enjoying a nice cold beer and a lovely glass of wine. We would certainly eat here again.

They claim to have vegetarian / vegan and gluten-free options in which the taste is not compromised but the cheffs did not even understand what dairy means. I got served with a burger which only included a bun, a patty, one tea spoon of mustard and a couple of small onion slices (when it should have included three more incredients). I had to ask them twice to add even some sauce that the burger would not be so dry. The quality was similar to McDonalds, just more expensive.

Good food we had the rump steak and the ultimate bacon and cheese burger. The steak was cooked to perfection although the chips were on the cold side. The burger was very good, very tasty and plenty of it.Drinks were well priced. Shame the chips were cold

In the heart of The Rocks, this restaurant offers a casual and relaxed family friendly menu at reasonable prices. This time round we all enjoyed the pork spare ribs, they were great. Well cooked and presented, they fell off the bone. The coleslaw was great as were the chips. Simple meals done really well and not costing the earth. Thank you!

I had the pork baby bbq ribs and they were good, not the best but good enought. My partner asked for the beef ribs and they were not good and too small. We had to order a beef burguer and that wasn't good either. If you want to have regular to good pork ribs this is the place but don't ask for beef ribs or beef burgers, you'll be disappointed, especially with the price they charge versus the quality of food they deliver. The beer was cold, that was the best part. The waitress doesn't care about taking the empty platws off the table of asking you if you need water or anything at all.

The spicy chicken sandwich is amazing (sauces on the side). The french fries were also tasty, warm and delicious. Unfortunately, my friend said her burger was dry. Also, the service left a lot to be desired. Customers order and pay using a QR code on each table; this means if you need something after you food is delivered, you will not get it without getting up or flagging someone down yourself. My friend never got the second drink she wanted.

Not sure how the reviews for this place stack up? Our experience was lacklustre service (I was asked by the waitress if I wanted to bring my own drinks to the table) we ordered from table. Our food was delivered almost in our lap, burger caramelised onions were cold rest of burger ok! The cabbage salad that accompanied my wife’s miniature ribs were as dry as a nuns ginge. Would not return the place is very overrated.

I was greeted by the waiter, showed my table and scanned the Covid app. The menu is just one page printed on one side. Easy to order, Gluten Free buns for burgers available (not seen anywhere else). I ordered Old School Burger, GF, Mighty Double and a small glass of white wine. The drink I've got straight away and the burger shortly after. Delicious. Rock music perfectly adjusted, quiet. I was alone and I really enjoyed my short visit. Mind that I was a waiter 25 years ago and I know all the drills. This was simply the best restaurant experience I've had overseas and here in my City for the last 25 years. Clear 5 stars from me.

After a long day sightseeing just wanted something quick and easy. You order at the bar and pay, then it’s brought to the table for you. Wagu burger was very filling and large portion of fries. It did the trick, quick & easy, typical of a fast food chain, but not a gourmet dinner as it doesn’t set out to be.

Whilst walking around the street markets in The Rocks, Sydney, my wife and I could smell the unmistakable aroma of a bbq. Our noses guided us until we arrived at Ribs and Burgers. We weren't even looking for a place to eat but the smell of Ribs on the grill instantly made us hungry. We ordered some Ribs and a burger. Both excellent. Highly recommend both. We had to order on line which was new for us. Remember to order sides (chips or salad) as they aren't included. Not cheap but its in one of Sydney's best tourist parts. Will be back...

The Rocks
The first residents of the Rocks were convicts and sailors from the old nation. As the oldest neighbourhood in the city, the area's cobblestone streets host more than 100 heritage sites and buildings, including the oldest house in Sydney, Camden Cottage, which was built in 1816. Taste a “midi “ or a “schooner” of beer and dine “al fresco” on the waterfront at some of the oldest pubs in Sydney. The weekend markets at the Rocks are where you can find local artists' hand-made souvenirs, organic food and designer jewelry in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. To enjoy some of the best Australian and international contemporary art, the MCA museum is open every day and select evenings. At the end of a long day of sightseeing, be sure to save energy to dance the night away at the area's many late night entertainment venues.
