I don't know if this place has new and inexperienced management or what but it has declined in its quality since I was there 18 months ago. The bread tasted as though it was frozen....it arriving in a freezer bag didn't help. The vine leaf and cabbage rolls were served in their own brine which was acrid and not pleasant.... More

We had dinner here on a hot summer's evening. The place seemed unfair conditioned and so I sweated during dinner. The waitress was a bit inexperienced and it took a while to get the order right. The meat platter was good - nice dips and freshly cooked meats but the vegetation platter was greasy and uninteresting with too much fried.... More

WE ate here at least once a week during our month in Sydney got to know the staff and had our favourite dishes. Thanks for having us.. we tried a couple of others but would recommend Fatimas if you are wondering. WE picked it on our first night as it was busy and warm with lots of veggie options ..... More

The decor and interior is a little old and you can tell its obviously an old restaurant, but it's pretty charming too and pretty suitable for a date. We ordered the meat and vegetarian platter for two. It was all mostly no frill's good hearty food without needing to look pretty. The chicken was juicy and not dry which I... More

There are many good Lebanese restaurants in this neighbourhood but this most certainly isn't one of them. Please do yourself a favour and choose any of the others in the area, every single one is head and shoulders above this dump. If you're attracted by the low prices, don't be - there is no value in paying for food this... More

Good quality Lebanese food, and cheap. Decor a bit tired out the back, but they do have a belly dancer on Fri & Sat nights.. Unlicensed but there's a bottle shop nearby.

I read the mixed reviews here with great interest. We had dinner here last night. Our Nepalese waiter was very attentive. However the atmosphere was revolting. The place could do with a good clean. And the other wait staff look like family members who would rather not be there. Food was really tasty though but my chicken was dry. Best... More

After reading online that Fatimas was one of Sydney's best byo's, we decided to check it out. Disaster. When we were seated there were old beer bottles scattered on the chair that no one had bothered to clean up. This should've been our warning. We are foodies who eat and enjoy Lebanese and there was nothing enjoyable beyond the bread.... More

Why? BYO. Private spaces. $35 banquet. Hot belly dancer. Friendly staff. Yummy food. Local. Music volume just right. No TV screens. Free ice buckets. Genuine care from the manager. Convenient location. No tourists. Sydney institution. BYO.

This restauarant ha sbeen a family favourite for 30 years and it with a heavy heart that I write this review. We visited for a family reunion and we really expected that we would be treated to Lebanese as only Fatimas can produce. We ordered the banquet and food was undercooked, cold or oily. Not fresh and vibrant as we... More
