We went to lunch at Condor at the recommendation of a colleague and were encouraged by the crowd there. Now I wonder why so many people eat at such and average place. We stood for a few minutes trying to get someone's attention to sit at an outside table. When no one showed any interest in seating us (despite having... More

After a long day flying in from Perth the wife and I were needing a proper meal and decided that Japanese was the go. We left the hotel walked about 20m and lo and behold two Japanese street side cafe's. Luck determined that the Condor was for us. The staff were very polite and friendly, the table was stable, unlike... More

Definitely not fine dining, but a tasty, quick-ish meal (meal speed varies greatly depending on time of service we found out, as we came back for a few visits). We sat outside on the porch section multiple times and found it quite cosy with heaters and blankets provided (we visited in August). My husband visits Sydney often for work and... More

Good cheap and tasty Japanese food. Good stop while having a night out. They could cook their steaks slightly better. But everything else was fine.

Fantastic meal, excellent portions even though my husband and I demolished the lot. Thank you for a wonderful meal and experience.

I had dinner here and while it is a relatively small restaurant with basic decor, the food is tasty, reasonably priced, good serving size and a fairly comprehensive menu. The staff are efficient and friendly definitely the place to go for a generous servings for a good price.

A very busy night due to Vivid - very few places open in that part of the city (must be penalty rates right!).

We often come to this busy Japanese restaurant for lunches... It is certainly not the best Japanese in town, but the food is great for the price! Somewhat chaotic with fairly over efficient (sometimes pushy) service, often orders get mixed up, but most of what is on offer is very nice! Give it a go if your in town for... More

I would come here once a week if I worked in down Sydney. We ordered pork gyoza, edamame, beef ramen, beef hot pot and loved it all. Not fine dining--but great tasting for a reasonable price. The reviewer who claimed there were only 4 tables must have been blind.

Could not believe it when 3 out of 3 dishes we'd ordered on searing hot cast iron dishes could not be eaten because THE IRON DISHES WERE VERY RUSTY. The waitress was very nice but alas could not speak English and tried telling us it was soy sauce. Even though our evening had been totally ruined, the manager was nowhere... More
