Very average meal, food was super fast but cold, friendly staff though. Disappointing that we were charged for a glass of ice when only one glass was given with a large bottle of mineral water for 2 people. Principal not money factor.

The best Thai we had in Sydney; even better than Thai Pothong in Newtown. Very tight and busy across from the theater. It what was just well-prepared food. Go and enjoy.
Located just opposite Capitol Theatre at Campbell Street, along "Thai Street" row where there are many other Thai minimarts & restaurants. Quite crowded during dinner. Food is nice, better than another one we tried few shops away but not that great though. Service is average.
We arrived and the restaurant was very busy, which we thought was a good sign. We could see that there was a two person table free on their balcony so we asked if we could sit there but was told it was reserved. We were...placed on a table in the middle of the walkway where my friend almost got hit multiple times by waiting staff walking past. The table in the balcony remained free all night until close. The food was very good although plates and bowls were all chipped. My main complaint is that waiting staff would take away drinks/rice bowl without asking when we weren’t finished. Food was good but service needs big improvements.More
I loved my pad si-ew--super tasty. The restaurant was full of happy diners, enjoying the bright colors and each other. The service was prompt and friendly.
Service was excellent bu food was ordinary. Had duck curry which was oily. Crying tiger came with only one small lettuce leaf and stir fried chichen with basil came as minced chicken. Rice for 4 was so small we had to ask for more. Overall...disappointed as there are many other Thai venues around the Haymarket.More
This is a busy place! Good location right across the road from the capital theatre and close to the light rail. We attended on a Saturday night for dinner, were meeting friends and family and there we 7 of us so I would recommend booking...as there was a line outside and many more people putting their names on the waiting list. The restaurant is nicely decorated and comfortable. Four of the party were sharing dishes. 1 was vegetarian, 1 was dairy and gluten intolerant and there was 1 child wanting a simple prawn and noodle dish with no spice. This restaurant catered for everyone with heaps of choices and each and every dish was delicious! I think you could order anything from the menu and be very happy. Highly recommend.More
Great place for authentic Thai food in Sydney. It's a unique cozy restaurant and a great atmosphere. I would highly recommend!
My family and I went there yesterday for dinner at 20:30 pm and they offered us a table, they said when we were already sitting down that we had to order because in half an hour they close the kitchen which we did not mind,...after ordering a plate which was specified to be the least spicy they could do it, we receive the food and it was impossible to eat, as it was very spicy, I complained about how spicy it was, and a very nice waiter kindly ask me if I want another one but his colleague came and said that it was already less spicy, that next time I shouldn’t order that which was said very rudely to us and did not change my dish, after 15 minutes eating the food, they were already rushing us to leave giving us the bill “ because they had to close the counter”… This morning we all woke up with a bad stomach ache… in conclusion horrible service, the food was nice but I don’t know what to say after waking up with that bad stomach ache…More
Sitting on a stool for dinner was a little uncomfortable . AS a group of 4 we shared many dishes all ok but nothing special . service was quick as was the food. unfortunately the basics ie. sticky rice was undercooked and steamed rice was...overcooked.ok for a quick feed before a showMore
There is an amazing array of things on this Thai menu that I have never seen in a Thai restaurant in Australia but have seen often in Thailand itself, simple but relaxing decor, situated in what has become known as Thai town in Haymarket.Order carefully...if you don't like food with lots of chillie, it comes in abundenceMore
The food is usually good, its casual, you end up having to sit on a tiny table cramped up against other people, the prices are reasonable but not budget. Been here many times, but a little put off about being asked what percentage I want...to tip. Australia is NOT a tipping nation due to fair wages. It makes Me wonder if the staff don't get paid enough or they are employing illegal workers. It is insulting because its like they are trying to keep it very casual, but then spring this tipping thing on you. People tip in America due to tipping being a big part of their pay and the service being extremely good. The food arrived very fast, which is great but its a busy casual cafe style restaurant that does not warrant an American style tipping system. They clearly are trying to double dip, or doing something dodgy. And also seem to be hoping visitors will be deluded into believing tipping is a custom in Australia! It IS NOT! An unexplained surcharge was also added to the bill We didn't notice until we left, which is illegal in Australia. It was a regular weekday, no public holiday. Don't ruin a great business by something dodgy.More
I’ve woken up this morning still smiling and dreaming of quite honestly one of the best meals I’ve eaten in my ENTIRE life! My husband had sick chicken green curry, which was awesome but my GOONG CHOO CHEE GF กุ้งฉู่ฉี่ was next level AMAZING! Also...tried that green panda and jelly for dessert which is exceptional also. Will definitely be going back and raving about this place to everyone and anyone who wants to listen. WOW, WOW, FREAKING WOW!More
Good red duck curry but very disappointing pad Thai noodles and over fried dry fish salad. Service was friendly but not efficient.
Amazing Thai food at this place. Been here multiple times and always ordering different things, so far, nothing have dissappoint. Restaurant is a bit small and narrow, so it tends to get a bit noisy. But otherwise, would recommend this place to others.
