Excellent service from seating to dessert, both waiters, and waitresses alike were extremely knowledgeable about the food, wine lists and parings and were exceptionally Freud lit and catering to every need. Delighting presentations of a well orchestrated menu! One can feel the careful attention the chefs gave to each dish. Their chief satisfaction seemed to be in gauging our enjoyment of the culinary experience.

I went to the Mirazur pop-up at Gantry Restaurant in Sydney with some friends. If I could give it a "0" star rating, I would. Probably one of the poorest meals I have had for supposed "fine dining". Whilst a coupe of the degustation dishes...were tasty (beetroot with wagyu), most of them were either over-flavoured or under-flavoured. The seafood also did not appear to be fresh. The lowlight of the dinner was the lobster with vanilla. They should apologise to the lobster for having died for something so bad - all you could taste was the gritty vanilla sauce which totally over-powered the unfortunate lobster. The accompanying wine list was also poor, although the sommelier was excellent and did a great job with what he had. Staff were friendly and accommodating but nothing could overcome the bad food. And all of this for $685 per head????More

My girlfriend and I had a beautiful night at The Gantry. Stunning food in a gorgeous location with warm and professional staff. The vegan dehydration was incredible! Thank you to all the staff!

Many options for all kinds of dietary needs are provided at this buffet. The staff takes table orders for freshly made omelets, BBQ sausage sandwiches and asparagus, and gourmet coffees.

3 kids and well...life mean we don't get out so much. My wife and I have birthdays in the same week so we got the water taxi. We cruised along the river and arrived late Friday afternoon to a bustlining Pier One. A brief settle...in then off to dinner. We knew what we were likely in for but it is definitely not your standard hotel restaurant. The head chef was part of Sepia - an adventurous Sydney institution untl it sadly packed off to Melbourne. It is good to see it back- sorta. The service was seamless and the food definitely a journey with the tasting menu. We added one or two extras as we only needed to crawl upstairs afterwards to a comfortable room with a gorgeous outlook. The restaurant was light and airy and things did not seem busy or rushed. We had space and time to just be. All accompanied by a lovely chablis recommended by Ahmed, one of the most enthusiastic simmeliers I have met in ages from a well curated wine list. Brilliant food well presented with excellent service. The fish, meat, vegetables were all above the usual standard of what you would expect a good restaurant and well presented . Great wine list also was available.

Thanks for the great experience Sophie (bar staff) looked after us and was charming and genuine. We'll be back for sure!

We were a table of 15 people all with the tasting menu. (On a Wednesday evening.) I have experienced a number 'tasting' menus in my life, and hands down, this was the best one I have ever had, (and I have done starred restaurants previously)...- and the Vegan tasting menu I had was both unbelievably pretty and tasty, all for the about half the price than I have paid before. My husband had the regular tasting menu and he felt the same. I highly recommend this place, and I think it would be great for any special occasion.More
