A wonderful seafood restaurant opposite the fish market on the water. Easy drive from the CBD but valet parking offered also. A large choice of oysters is impressive! We each had a different fish main and all were delicious. The service was very good too....More

Obviously the snapper pie is the famous dish but it also offers a local aspect to its dining. It’s above a boat shed and it’s been around for a long time offering great cuisine at a reasonable price for Sydney. I’d recommend catching the tram...More

Fabulous food, very attentive service, Had table 1 which had a great view over Blackwattle Bay. It is a little noisy with a full restaurant crowd. The Sashimi of yellowfin tuna was exceptional.

So I googled “best sydney seafood” and this came up as an option and looked good but that’s all it was. A terrible dining experience food very average service atrocious. Don’t believe the ratings.

It's a nice place but I didn't find it pretentious. You would be equally comfortable and at ease in suit and tie or nice jeans. Personally I went in suit with no tie.
