I timed my visit well, mid-morning on a Monday, so managed to snag one of the small tables inside. Decided to try a more adventurous option than good old avo on toast, so went with the burrata (round mozzarella cheese with cream inside) plate. The cheese was served with fresh nectarine, rocket, mint and a delicious sauce - great complementary... More

Great food. Small amount of seating which give it a nice friendly and authentic feel. The staff are super lovely and you can tell they all love being there. It shows in the quality of the food and good vibe this place this gives.

Before we came to Surry Hills I made sure I sourced the "best" local coffee, many reviews said Single O was one of the best, if not the best coffee in Surry Sills. Sadly I was disappointed with what they offered, maybe I am partly to blame as my expectations were quite high. As I was only ordering take away... More

Finally made it here for breakfast since it was closed on a Saturday over the long weekend! Rarely get to enjoy breakfast over the papers without the need to vacate due to people waiting for a table! Ordered the Reuben sandwich which was very tasty but probably a little too heavy for breakfast especially with the potato side. Coffee was... More

Came here from breakfast easy walk from Rydges Sydney Central. BACON ROLL, RED EYE MAYO, FRIED EGG, TOMATO APPLE KETCHUP is just so good, came back the next day for exactly the same dish, so good. Other family members had bacon and eggs with sourdough. All great. I have reviewed the coffee before still the best in Sydney.

After a long nightshift and a meeting coming up in one hour i needed to feed my body while i was craving a good coffee. We just walked past and into, read found an empty couple of seats outside in the very crowded coffeeshop, "Single O" in Surrey Hills, and were pleasantly surprised with the attentive staff in this busy... No wonder why it is the #1 cafe when I looked up tripadvisor. the food is very affordable for city living. the vibe was chill, the staff were accomodating, friendly and customer orientation is second to none. Just 300 metres away from central station I can say that it is very accessible.

It doesn't look like much from the ourside but this little corner cafe does a great breakfast. It's your usual breakfast cafe menu but just a little be quirky and modern. I orders the avo on toast and it was no problem to switch Rye for Sourdough. I was a little suprised when it arrived because it looks so fresh... More

Enjoyed cold drop coffee and a light meal here today after a recommendation from a friend. It's a nice relaxed venue tucked away in the side streets of Surry Hills. Staff were friendly and service was good.

The coffee is still good at this location and has been for a long while. Always nice to go back there. The food is well prepared. Coffee is not a really dark roast but pretty nice. Well made.

Description
Hours: Mon-Fri 6:30am-4pm, Sat 7:30am-3pm We are a Sydney-based roaster and have a cafe in Surry Hills that some lovely folks have gone so far as to call 'legendary'. Our coffee is responsibly sourced and for the most part responsibly consumed. We are driven. Which could have something to do with the amount of coffee we consume. We aim to inspire coffee passion and exploration, to raise the bar and have customers who don't mind that we're a touch nuts. Our quality standards are uncompromising. For all our joking around, we take the coffee, food and service seriously.
