Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Wow! What a concept to make pasta dishes with your choice of pasta and your choice of sauce, each individually made! The menu is PASTA with a couple appetizers and desserts. The service is FAST and friendly in a VERY small and casual eating area. Also, this is recycling friendly with its wooden cutlery and paper lined metal plate. Highly recommended!!

Stumbled on this small Italian spot and chatted to the owner ( Italian) who claimed his food is good, wholesome like eating at home (where Nona probably helms the kitchen). Came back at dinner time - you can eat in ( good for millennials, mostly tables for 2 with stools, white walls, bright lights, happy, young counter staff fronting a small kitchen) or take out ( we chose the latter). What I like is that you choose your pasta then your sauce - so you don’t have to have spaghetti with meatballs as other restaurants dictate! We had tortellini marinara and meatballs with tagliatelle. The pasta was fresh (not from a box) with the tortellini well stuffed. The meatballs were larger than golf balls ( more like the 8-ball on the pool table) with enough meaty bite. The seafood in the marinara were fresh and sufficient (not just a prawn and a mussel). Most of all, each sauce was different, with chunks of tomato and fresh herb (basil). There are other items ( arancini) and garlic bread (give that a miss).

The food is made of fresh ingredients ,right in front of you . This place was recommended by a friend and boyyyy, it was bang on......kept upto its name and goodwill. The spaghetti were homecooked and you can taste each flavour marrying perfectly with each other.....varsha who served us was ever smiling and ensured that the experience ,was made memorable ... smiling always. Will definitely return.try the Nutella desert

Focaccia was very ordinary with too much dough and little toppings. Crochette and lasagne were bland.
Saving grace was the puttanesca pasta with anchovy. The way dishes were served in paper boxes and waxed papers was commendable.

We used to order food delivery from this restaurant regularly and everything was okay. Today we had an alive big bug in our salad. Awful. Cannot eat anything from them anymore. Now I am wondering if they observe hygiene. Don't recommend this restaurant if you are touchy like me when it comes to insects in your food.

What a disappointing experience. Having read the good reviews, and seen the good-looking Arancini in their cabinet, we were looking forward to dinner from Friggatoria. Unfortunately the Arancini was extremely greasy and the filling stodgy. It was better, however, than their Suppli, which was not only greasy, but contained meat so smokey that no other flavour could permeate.
The pasta was $20 for a small to medium serve… overpriced for the dry, strange-tasting carbonara that we didn’t even finish eating. The bolognaise was mildly better - still dry, but a reasonable flavour.
I would not recommend this place to anyone, and am surprised at the many good reviews it has received.

Really good food, quick place to eat at great service. Always brilliant food love it, no charge on byo either which is great, you can see the pasta hanging up and the food is quick to come out. Highly recommend.

We are new to uber eats , as we live rurally...but super impressed.
Food arrived at an acceptable temp, pasta could have been a little warmer but not their fault.
Lovely pasta, bread and the rosemary potatoes were so authentic i thought my Nonna made them!!

It has been a while since I have written about my favourite Italian place in Potts Point ..
I had my lunch there couple of days ago and as usual I was delighted with the experience..
The staff is always smiling and the food is excellent.
I started with their exceptional garlic pizza bread .. ( strips of fried pizza dough )seriously light and fluffy .. such a winner for me ..
As a main I had my usual Penne Norma .. I just love the explosion of flavours that comes out from this sauce ( cherry tomatoes.. eggplants .. ricotta & garlic ) ..
I really wanted to eat their tiramisu’ but I was so full so I skipped it .. I just cannot recommend it enough !!!

If you’re looking for friendly service, **Friggitoria** is not the place. I visited this place today and was met with complete indifference from the staff, particularly the girls working there. They seemed more interested in chatting among themselves than helping customers. Not once did they offer a smile or check in to see if everything was okay. When I asked a simple question about the menu, they gave dismissive, uninterested answers as if I was bothering them.
The food might be decent, but the rude and ignorant attitude of the staff completely ruined the experience. Customer service is just as important as the food, and unfortunately, Friggitoria falls short in this department. Wouldn’t recommend unless you don’t mind feeling unwelcome!

Such a great little place, the food was amazing. We had the carbonara and norma with tagliatelle. Norma was vegetarian friendly and tasted beautiful. The garlic pizza bread was so light and crunchy too. Would definitely recommend and come back again while we are here. Rapid and friendly service too.

We only bought take away and it was a Monday night, and it was a bit late but geez the food was disappointing. One order was wrong and the other was glunky and not very tasty at all. Inexpensive but poor value when you don't eat it all.

Kings Cross
Changing liquor laws are remodeling "The Cross," Sydney's red light district. These new rules have encouraged trendy cafes and boutiques to pop-up in the area, as well as organic markets on Saturdays. The area's nightclubs are still popular with youngsters, however, who will dance to the early morning hours on weekend nights. There are plenty of artifacts from Kings Cross' shady past when gangsters and liquor houses owned the place. Today, one can still find a variety of adult entertainment venues in this evolving area.
