Well this is more a bistro than a restaurant. I am not a Sydney tozrist, and will be honest first chose Masuyo based on reviews which was booked out. This one is a good place though, the service and most of the customers looked japanese...or asian. Nigiri is quite small but tasty. They have a bar and wooden tables. They have not just sushi but also cooked food. Sauvignon blanc by glass 8 aud. Dont expect fancy.More

Smallish but busy restaurant located downstairs of the Hunter Connection. Friends ate the "all you can eat" buffet which they were more than happy with. I had the Salmon Teriyaki which was great!

It was the worst dining experience by far! I am a new mom and I haven't had a chance to eat sushi, raw food in particular so i search online and found this restaurant online. The website photo and advertisement look promising but beware do...not be deceived like us. Me and my family dine in for the $35 all you can eat (food from the ala carte menu) to our surprise we didn't receive the food that we have expected. For instance the sashimi salad, in the photo i have avocado, good amount of salmon and other sorts of stuff but the one we received has only three items, yes three items ie. salad greens, dressing and few pieces small slices of salmon. Yes that's it! Wait there is more.. their dragon sushi its horrible it doesn't event have cream cheese or avocado. If you want value for your money please stay away from this restaurant!More

I would give them a zero if I could! Bad service Group of 6 having dinner. 5 of them eating the all you can eat menu and 1 person ordering off the main menu. They refused to let 5 people order the all you can...eat and 1 person order of the main menu as they thought we were cheating the system. The manager kept saying no all of you have to order off the same menu. I said repeatedly that i do not like seafood/sushi i just want the chicken teriyaki. She would not budge. How are we cheating the system if eveyone but 1 perosn orders the all you can eat menu but that 1 person still eating a large meal. I had to sit on a seprate table next to my friends and have my order on a separte bill. I ordered the chicken teriyaki large - it was very nice but reluctant to come again from this bad service.More

Here you definitely get food worth your money. Sushi is very nice and plenty with all you can eat option and the Hot Pota also looked really tasty! Somehow hidden but a very good option for Sushi in Sydney.

A local stalwart and one I should have frequented far more often over the years. Well located for the office crowd and it’s tucked away location and liquor licence make it a popular haunt. Well priced array of the staples and takeaway; no Bento boxes...- a mild disappointment. Well priced wines by the glass and obliging straightforward service in an established and unpretentious space. Here’s hoping it survives the inevitable upgrade of the Hunter Connection as the Wynyard precinct lurches belatedly into the 21st Century. Great value authentic Japanese lunch spot.More

The place is a bit small so it can get packed on a weekend night. The staff there are all wonderful, friendly, and kind and the food was pretty decent. The $45/pp 'all you can eat sashimi' was very delightful. It includes most of everything...else that's on the menu including udon, tempura, gyoza etc but excludes drinks. The food itself was overall pretty good, not completely authentic but it makes the cut. My only dislike was probably the fact that that the handrolls had a lot of rice in them instead of other fillings like soft shell crab, tuna and avocado etc. The food also came pretty quickly given that I went on a Tuesday night and that there wasn't a lot of people.More
