We use to come to this restaurant regularly for their fresh sushi and sashimi. They have changed owners recently and unfortunately the standards have dropped. Menu has changed and undergone a price hike. The food not as fresh as it use to be and the cooked dishes are poorly prepared. A real disappointment!!! Won't be coming back

This used to be my absolute favourite restaurant in Sydney, and we came here frequently with friends, family and by ourselves. We loved the freshness of the food - we always ordered the exact same dishes - and the service. Sadly, our last visit - the first after a year interstate - was disappointing. The chef who had been there... More

Went with the family. We ordered several dishes and not one would be recommended The sashimi was chewy, the tempura was overloaded with batter. There was nothing fresh about any of the food.. Not in a rush to go back.

A Japanese food institute in the Inner West, we have been going there ever since we moved to Sydney 12 years ago. One of the draw cards was the fact that it was so child friendly ( our kids were toddlers then ) The food is really good, fresh sashimi and sushi and the other cooked food iss delicious. I... More

The atmosphere of this restaurant is amazing and the bar is well decorated in Japanese style. Food is excellent, service is good and cost moderate. My partner and I visit once every 2 months and the standard of the restaurant is maintained with out fail.

Sydney has some excellent Japanese food, and this place has been one of the highlights for decades. It's just a local restaurant that happens to serve superb, fresh, delicious sushi, as well as a good traditional Japanese menu. It's certainly not fast food, but it is delicious and reasonable. If you're visiting Sydney, there are plenty of buses from the... More

This is a restaurant I have visited regularly which changed management a few years ago. The food is still very good as I understand the original chef is still there. It is nice to see that they still play the same authentic Japanese music and great that they continued on the tradition set by the former owner, Kazuaki, to let... More
