Visited as it was nearby and recommended on TA. It’s is in an old building opposite Hyde Park. You would miss it if you didn’t know it was there but obviously people do as it was very busy. Glad we had a reservation and if...you want to go I would recommend you do that. V easy on their website. It’s cosy and bustling and reminded me of a good quality Parisian bistro. Our food was all good and other plates I saw passing by all looked appetising. Very friendly and helpful staff and at $120 (inc tip) for two courses and wine for two of us a very fair price. I would certainly return and happy to recommendMore

We arrived at the restaurant at 6pm. We were greeted instantly by a very friendly and professional waiter, who walked us to our table. We were seated in a quaint part of the restaurant which was private and stylish. The service we received exceeded our...expectations and the food was perfect. There was 4 of us. We shared the entrees and ordered 4 different mains that were all delicious. The tomato with think slices of peach and bocchini with white balsamic vinegar, I can still taste and the zucchini flower was cooked to perfection. Our congratulations to the whole team. You deserve 10 stars not 5. We look forward to our next visit. Regards Marol and friendsMore

We love Bambini Trust. We eat here once a month on average - to catch up with friends, or before or after a concert or show. Whether we sit in the restaurant or the wine room, we enjoy the atmosphere. The food is delicious (our...favourites are the prawn pasta and the veal cotoletta), with daily specials based on what is in season. The service is excellent - friendly, but not invasive. Can't recommend it highly enough.More

Every couple of months, a friend visits Sydney from Malaysia, and we always find a different restaurant to meet for dinner. I booked for a Monday night. We were warmly welcomed by the friendly staff. For my mains, I had the Pappardelle - lamb regu....The pasta was perfectly cooked. The ragu was full of flavour. So, much so that I could have had a second bowl. Bambini Trust Restaurant is definitely a hidden gem in the CBD. I highly recommend you book for a wonderful meal with exceptional service.More

An excellent restaurant, great service with a high level of customer care - where to food is simply outstanding. Our second visit = to the first. Showing high quality consistently. Good atmosphere, cosy yet lively.

Disappointed with my dining experience. Limited menu and very steep prices. Maybe I chose badly. Twice cooked Gruyère soufflé was completely bland. Absolutely no flavour. To compound matters it was swimming in an anaemic white sauce. Not good. However, I have to say that the...wild boar ragu with white truffle and paparadelle was excellent. Extensive dessert list which I didnt try. Smart if expensive wine list and very helpful sommelier. Service was slick but unobtrusive Overall, disappointing and underwhelming especially given the prices and limited menu. There are better choices in Sydney at that price point imho. .More

Had been trying to get here for 5 years with Covid and travel interfering. The exterior and entrance ooze welcome, although it gets a little cramped at table changeover times at the booking entrance. Old style decor, typical of Australian Italian restaurants, but not cramped....Greeting and service were exceptional, attentive staff without being too attentive. The menu specials were varied and the overall menu well designed. The food was very pleasing, Italian at heart with minor variations. The wine list by the glass is well designed, and the bottle range was ( as expected) over the top but well priced Overall a very enjoyable lunch. Tip, the restaurant has two sides plus pavement seating. The bar side of the restaurant is probably the most pleasant on a cold dayMore

I booked Bambinis for my engagement dinner and this was our experience: 1. The staff were rude 2. They squashed 13 of us onto a table that fits 8 people. Could barely sit and there wasn’t any room on the table so drinks kept falling....It was so horrible I wish I was making this up. Overall it is a night I’ll never get back and there’s nothing I regret more than choosing Bambinis to host such a memorable night. All anyone took away from the night was how there was no room to breathe and the staff were rude. Considering the hefty price it was easily the worst dining experience I’ve ever had.More

My wife and I enjoyed a magical evening of fine dining to celebrate our anniversary. Our visit was far more than just a meal or a dinner - it was a complete sensory experience of five-star cuilinmary excellence and intuitive, personal, first-class service. Everything felt...beautiful, luscious and intimate and everything from our arrival to our departure flowed effortlessly. The cuisine was delectable, the beverages divine and the attentive but also unobtrusive service was exceptional - they knew what we wanted before we did! The ambience and setting and candlelit setting was superb also. An unforgettable, soul-filling experience we will savour and repeat with anticipation.More

Our first time dining here and invited by friends. The setting and ambience of a typical European bistro, warm and inviting. Staff and service was engaging, attentive, polite and helpful. The wine list was extensive to say the least with a range of local and...overseas choices for those perhaps not at the bargain basement end of the spectrum but Bambini doesn't suggest it''s a 'cheap eats' experience - However, the food is excellent, freshly prepared and well presented and you can't complain at the cost if the value of the product is there and it is here! We had an excellent dinner, the butterflied spatchcock and veal cutlet both first class.More
